Talanii's POV:
After a long day of school I just layed on my bed listening to the sound of the rain hitting against my window. As I was about to doze off I hear a knock at my door. I walk downstairs and open my front door and to my surprise it was Amare.
A: Hey
T: Hi
(I say in confusion) we just stand there in silence for a couples seconds
T:soooo....
A: Oh yeah. Um I don't have a key to the house yet and my dads not home soo I was wondering if I could stay here a while, until my dad gets back.
T: uh yeah sure. Come in.
Amare's POV:
Me and Talanii were just sitting in her living in room, in complete silence, just on our phones, and all of the sudden I blurt out,
A: why don't you like me
T: woah were did that come from
A: I was just thinking because like ever since I've gotten here I just feel like you've resented me
T: I meann like when you first got here I knew who you were and I was excited to get to know you. But you were rude to me and you were reading my texts and you were being weird.
A: yeah I know but I tried to say sorry but you interrup-
T: you put your hand ON MY THIGHHHH
A: just like that ( I whispered). I'm sorry that's what I normally do to get someone's attention.
T: okay but not around her you don't
A: Ok cool, but y-you know what we should just start over
T: what?
A: like start all over again. Like how people do it movies
(I says while laughing)
T: this is not the movies broo
(she says while laughing aswell)
We both stop laughing and me and Talanii just stand there, her looking up in my eyes, and me looking down in hers, it's like I wanted to kiss her but I didn't know her but it just felt righttt.
Talanii's POV:
We were looking into each others eyes and the height difference was embarrassing but my eyes kept drifting from his eyes to his lips, they looked so luscious and soft I really want to kiss him. We both lean in for a kiss-
Mum: Hello, Talanii are you home.
I hear my mum scream from the front door. She walks into the living room and me and Amare turn away from each other swiftly and smile and wave at my mum.
Mum: oh hi Amare I didn't know you were coming over
A: oh yeah I-
T: he didn't have a key to his house yet and his dad wasn't home
Mum: oh okay , I'll talk to you guys later
A: you gotta stop doing that
(he whispers in my ear and I smile)
My mum walks out the living room and goes up to her room
A: so are we gonna finish what we started or what
T: no, I don't even know you like that
A:then get to know me
( he says while holding my hands and staring into my eyes)
T: okayyy
( I say with a big smile)
