preparations for the new album werent just stressful on minghao, but they were stressful on everyone. minghao and joshua were in the practice room working on the choreography to their new title track, home run. it's getting quite late, but minghao wanted to make sure everything was right.
"hao, it's a little late, dont you think?" joshua said as he grabbed his water bottle from the floor. minghao paused for a moment before responding.
"it's only 2 am. it'll be okay. if you're tired you can go without me." he responded to the blonde.
"minghao. look at me please." joshua said stepping closer to the other.
"listen, i understand that youre stressed about this, but this isn't the first comeback we've ever had. we know how to pull something off, even if it's under pressure." joshua spoke as he placed a hand on the others shoulder. minghao looked down for a moment before joshua realized a tear slowly falling down the others cheek.
"oh no, hao.." joshua said with a frown, taking the younger into his arms. he hugged minghao and gently ran his hands along his back, comforting him.
"m-m sorry hyung.. i dunno why m so stressed 'nd sensitive.." minghao said in a slightly babbled voice. joshua noticed this and let go of the other for a brief moment.
"is the stress causing you to slip, sweetheart?" joshua whispered with a honey like voice to the other. minghao just slowly nodded.
"hey, how about this baby. ill clean up the practice room real fast and then we can go to rest, hm?" joshua proposed. minghao let out a small smile. he sniffled a bit and nodded again.
"okay, just go sit over there for a sec, mkay?" the older said. minghao let out a small 'okay' and joshua lied a small kiss on the others head. joshua, like he said, quickly cleaned up the practice room. it only took a couple minutes since it was just the two of them.
"ready, baby?" joshua asked. minghao looked up at him with starry eyes and nodded. joshua gently picked the other up as he headed out of the practice room. they made it to the dorms and gently set minghao down on the bed. minghao had already fallen asleep in joshuas arms as he carried him. joshua found it adorable.
he decided to change out of his clothes and lied down next to the chinese male. he pulled the covers over the two of them and minghao subconsciously cuddled up next to joshua. he smiled and kissed the others forehead, softly running his hands through the others hair.
"goodnight.. sweet dreams,"
"my lovely hao."
