(Ruby's POV)
Ruby, Ace, and Jaune enter Beacon Academy's giant auditorium, which is filled to the brim with people. Ruby looks over when she hears Yang's voice.
Yang: (waving) Ruby! Over here! I saved you a spot!

                            

                                Ruby: (to Jaune and Ace) Oh! Hey, I-I gotta go! I'll see you guys after the ceremony! Ruby: (to Jaune and Ace) Oh! Hey, I-I gotta go! I'll see you guys after the ceremony! (leaves)
Ace: (waving) See you later, Ruby!
Jaune: Hey, wait! (sighs) Ah, great. Where am I supposed to find another nice, quirky girl to talk to?! 
Ace: Hey, at least I'm still here. Come on, there's someone I have to meet up with.
Jaune groans, but follows Ace, who searches through the crowd and eventually finds his brother.
Adrian: (waving) Hey, little bro! You made it!
Adrian then notices Jaune walking behind Ace.
Adrian: (asks Ace:) Who's he?
Ace: Oh, this is Jaune Arc; (to Jaune) Jaune this is my older brother, Adrian Arbiter.
Jaune: Hi.
Adrian: (recognizing Jaune) Wait, aren't you the guy—
Ace: (finishing Adrian's sentence) The guy who threw up on the ship? Yes, but he's okay.
Adrian shrugs then reaches an open hand out to Jaune.
Adrian: Well, any friend of Ace is a friend of mine.
Jaune: (shakes Adrian's hand) Cool.
(Meanwhile)
(Ruby's POV)
Yang: (once Ruby joins her, arms crossed) How's your first day going, little sister?
Ruby: You mean since you ditched me and I exploded?
