The smile on Jordan's face wouldn't go away, no matter what he did. When he caught Evelyn looking at him, he instantly liked her. As he was walking home, he couldn't seem to get her face out of his mind.
"Jordan? Why are you smiling?" his mom asked when he reached the door.
"Nothing, just had a good day at school," he smirked.
"Oh, I was just gonna ask that!" His mom smiled.
"Well, now there's no need."
"Where's Ethan?" Jordan asked.
"At his friend's house," his mom shrugged.
"Oh," he looked away.
Jordan thought about what he had to do: get Evelyn Rosario to go to the Coven meeting.
