The next day, while Addison was downstairs, eating breakfast she heard the sound of glass shattering. She gasped and ran upstairs to see what the racket was. As soon as she ran into her room she saw glass shards everywhere, a rock, and her broken window. She carefully stepped over the shards and looked out of it to see Wyatt awkwardly standing there.
"My bad," he said before laughing nervously.
"Wyatt!!! You just broke my freaking window," she fumed.
"Sorry! I was just trying to get your attention!"
"Ugh! What," she responded, angrily.
"I see you're still mad about last night..."
"Yeah. That was embarrassing and you made me really uncomfortable."
"I didn't mean to. It was a joke. I'm sorry."
"Thanks, I guess... is that all?"
"Uhhh... no... I... can I come in," he asked, smiling and looking a bit nervous.
"Sure..." She hesitated for a moment. In the next 30 seconds, he had climbed up the side of the house and into her room, through the window.
"Ow!!!" He winced, noticing he had cut his hand on one of the shards.
"Let me see." She took his hand and looked at it before gently pushing him down on the bed and running to get a bandage. He looked around, admiring all the trophies and feeling her soft, pink sheets on his back, trying to ignore the pain in his hand. She came back in and cleaned the cut off then put a bandage on it.
"Thanks, Addie."
"Of course." He hugged her then pulled her down on top of him. She looked a bit uncomfortable and held herself up.
"We need to talk."
"About what?" Suddenly, her mom walked in, saw him and screamed then threw a book at his head. He ducked just in time, watching it knock her lamp off her nightstand, shattering it. He then chuckled and gently threw her off.
"I'll fix the window... and that thing can wait," he said before running off.
