I'm sat on the bathroom floor while I use the side of the bathtub to support my back. I move my knees up to my chest and take a deep breath when I focus on my name written at the top of the letter.
I had no idea what this letter had in store for me. I was hoping it was Draco telling me that he would be fine or that he was going to find a way to leave but by now I knew that nothing was ever going to be that simple.
Just as I finished taking a deep breath I hear a faint knock on the main bedroom door.
I was too upset to talk to anyone. I just wanted to read this letter and sit on my bathroom floor in fucking peace.
I tilt my head back with an annoyed face when I hear an impatient and aggressive second knock. I set the letter down on the floor and pull myself up from the ground. When I walk past the bathroom mirror I get a glimpse of how rough I look and my body comes to a halt. I look over myself while my lips part with shock.
My paleness overwhelmed my face and my hair was all knotted. Dark bags accompanied my under eyes which expressed my tiredness and small dotted bruises covered my upper arms.
I huff while turning away from the mirror and walk out of the bathroom. I walk across the mahogany floors and open the door to see Thalia standing next to Pansy.
I look at Pansy with gaped eyes and then I quickly turn to Thalia with my eyes still widened with confusion.
Her right shoulder was wrapped in bandages and a sling rested around her kneck while supporting her hurt arm. Her curls were normally the most prominent feature of her appearance but they looked dull. They would usually bounce vibrantly every time she moved her head but at the moment they laid flat around her sluggish shoulders. Even though I could see her pain through the way her body was tensed she still kept a sweet smile that expressed her kindness.
My hands were clenched at my sides as I looked at Pansy with anger steaming off me.
She was dressed in all black while her straight black hair flowed around her face. Her arms were crossed in front of her with confidence but her face was blank.
My anger started to build as Pansy grew a smirk on her face while she looked at my clenched fists.
I could feel something in me snap and if Pansy smirked at me one more time I was going to lose it on her. I was over taking peoples bullshit.
"What the fuck is she doing here?" I ask Thalia with my jaw clenched.
How was Pansy even here? Her parents were associated with death eaters and her being here could put all of us in more danger. I trusted Thalia but this was ridiculous.
Before Thalia can respond to my question Pansy brushes past me and invites herself into my room. Her shoulder lightly but purposely knocks into mine as she walks through the crowded doorway and my fingertips dig further into my palm expressing my fury.
I glare at Thalia while she shrinks past me and follows Pansy into my room.
"Thalia-" I start while shutting the door but Pansy interrupts me.
"Just sit down," she says rudely.
Why was this bitch acting like she could order me around?
I look at Pansy and let out a laugh. I cross my arms to match her confidence and walk over to her. Without saying anything I move close to her and stare into her eyes.
"Go. to. Hell," I say slowly to her with a smile and evil smile.
"Pansy," Thalia says while motioning with her eyes for Pansy to sit down.
