Tessa pov:
Hi I'm Tessa Nightshade I have long blonde hair and blue eyes I'm also kinda shy and very pale. I love to read books and swim. I go to Goodie high I'm on the swim team and so is my best friend Percy Jackson and before you say anything I don't have a crush on him I'm just really overprotective about him expeccially when girls hit on him. Anyway today we have states my I qualified in 50 fly 100 fly 100 I'm 50 free and 500 free. Percy qualified in pretty much everything. Anyways on to the meet.

So my cousin is also coming yay I really hope she doesn't hit on Percy though I don't want to see her heart get brocken. Percy is up next and he is of course going to win but then I see Annabeth holding up a sign that says GO SEAWEED BRAIN. Hmm that's an odd name. Must be her friend she was talking about. Percy wins but what surprised me most is that Annabeth is screaming the loudest. Oh no she likes him, time for the talk. I walk up to her and say

"hey Annabeth can we talk" she nods

"What about?" She questions

" You see I saw you staring at Percy right"

"Yes so" she says

"Well he has a girlfriend"

"Really" she says was that sarcasm

Hmm I wonder what that's about.

"Watch this" she says

Oh no she is going to embarrass herself and get rejected. She goes and taps him on the shoulder when he turns around she smashes her lips into his I expect him to pull away and shove her off like he does with every girl but when he sees who she is he picks her up and twirls her around still kissing her. When they finally pull away he says

"Wise girl"

"Seaweed brain" is her response

Then they head over to me and say

"Hey tessa you didn't tell me you were Annabeths cousin."

"I didn't know you knew her"

"Annabeths my girlfriend"

Oh my gosh I just told her to stay away from him.

"I am so sorry" I say to Annabeth

" It's fine really"

"Hey guys you wanna get some pizza from mod?" Ask Percy

"Sure" me and Annabeth say in unison.

And with that we all leave to go get pizza.
