third person pov.

"you are so dead!" devenity screamed as she immediately sat up, chasing after the boy who just threw a bucket of water on her head.

currently, daniel, jack, serenity, devenity, and kendall were out on the beach which devenity was tanning while the rest were in the water.

"haha" kendall laughed as the rest copied her actions. daniel then got out of the water, going over to the two that are now 'fighting' and picked up devenity.

"daniel james seavey. you put me down RIGHT NOW" devenity was now shouting at daniel.

daniel winked at jack and he immediately knew what he was doing. jack quickly grabbed her legs and daniel grabbed her arms and they slowly moved over to the water, "stop!"

they continued and when they were deep enough, but devenity wasn't touching the water, they began swinging her and then threw her even deeper, "your lucky she knows how to swim, you could've commuted murder" serenity slowly moved over as daniel picked her up and threw her to the left, "hey!"

"oh don't worry renity, i'm going to be the one to commit murder" devenity said a little too loud which got weird stares but she just rolled her eyes at them and began chasing the two boys.

"and this is why we absolutely need dev in our friend group" kendall mentioned when serenity finally got back to her, "yep" she wiped her eyes, getting a good look at the two.

after a couple of minutes, everyone was now in the water playing volleyball (or keep the ball up) when kendall spoke, "uh i think i'm going to now"

"why? what's wrong?" jack blurted, furrowing his eyebrows as everyone did the same, "no reason, i'm just going to head home" kendall smiled at them as she quickly got her things and began running to her car.

they all shrugged and let her continue with her day and continued playing.

"what's up guys?" corbyn's voice was heard behind serenity he ticked her sides, serenity accidentally slapping him, "oh my gosh i'm so sorry, corbyn" serenity lightly touched his cheek seeing a red imprint of her hand.

daniel slightly clenched his fist which jack took notice to and told her to calm down, "that must be why kendall left" jack whispered.

"are we playing volleyball?" corbyn asked, "yeah, wanna play?" daniel proposed.

"sure let's do it" he hit the volleyball in the air and the game began.

shortly after, devenity texted the whole group chat, telling them to come to the beach which they did (except for kennedy)

"i'm hungry, can we like to eat something" kennedy complained, "fine fine, guys let's go to my house and eat something, i'll tell eben to cook something" jonah told them as everyone began getting out of the water.

"don't go gordon ramsay on him" devenity commanded and they all laughed at her joke, "not making any promises" jonah put his hands up once he got all of his belongings.

they got into the cars they arrived in and followed jonah's car to his house. once they all arrived, they parked either in the garage, driveway, or on the side of the house.

before they could even walk in, they heard two people yelling at each other which jonah immediately unlocked the door and went to the kitchen seeing kendall yelling at eben and eben obviously stressed out.

there was sauce on the counters and spaghetti noodles all over the stove and floor, "eben that's not how you do it!" everyone now filled the kitchen.

"sorry guys, we'll just order a pizza" eben shrugged as he left the kitchen, maybe to get a shower. kendall on the other hand began to clean up the mess he made in annoyance, "oh you'll be fine" corbyn told her and trudged up to his room.

kendall took a slight look at him and rolled her eyes, "everyone take showers before you sit on my couch" jonah sternly instructed them as he went to his room.

"i call taking a shower first!" serenity shouted, "not if you don't beat me!" jack began rushing up the stairs as everyone did also except for penelope.

"kendall, you okay?" she asked the girl, "yeah, i'm fine" kendall deadpanned and penelope ran up the stairs too.

in reality, kendall wasn't nearly okay.
