HARRY.

Two weeks later, Harry is sitting on a sofa in yet another tuxedo shop. He’s with Zayn, searching for a tuxedo for his wedding, and they’ve been looking for nearly three hours now.  He’s a bit annoyed, because to him, Zayn looks perfect in every suit, but Zayn still isn’t satisfied, even after trying on fifteen different suits.

But he’s also a bit annoyed because he’s nervous. And he always gets easily annoyed when he’s nervous. He wants to talk about something with Zayn, but he doesn’t know how to start. He shifts on the sofa, getting a bit of an aching back from all the sitting when Zayn finally walks out of the fitting room, and again, looks beautiful.

Zayn walks to the mirror, twirling around while he looks at himself and finally, a small smile appears on his face. He turns around to Harry, raising his eyebrow.

“What do you think?”

Harry smirks at Zayn, thinking this one looks really, really good on him. “You look amazing, Zayn.”

Zayn nods and grins back at Harry, before he turns around to look in the mirror again. “I think this is it.” He says determined.

He walks to Harry and sits down next to him. “What about you, then? Have you already find something?”

Harry sighs, fumbling with his shirts. He really can’t hold it in any longer, so he sighs again and looks up at Zayn.

“I think I like Niall.”

Zayn’s eyes widen a bit, placing his hand on Harry’s shoulder to give it a squeeze while his mouth turns into a small smile.

“You like Niall, yeah?”

”Yeah, I guess so. We’ve been texting a lot,” he explains, turning to look at his hands in his lap. “He’s quite attractive, yeah? And he’s really nice as well.” He turns to look at Zayn again. “He’s sweet,” he murmurs softly.

Zayn gives Harry another squeeze before he curls his arm completely around Harry’s shoulder to pull him closer. “That’s nice, right? Did you tell him yet?”

“No! I don’t know if he likes me back, Zayn,” he sighs. “I’m not even sure if he likes boys or anything. He’s just really sweet to me.”

“Well just talk to him about it, Haz.” Zayn strokes softly through Harry’s curls before he continues. “You guys are friends now, right? So I’m sure he cares about your feelings.”

Harry shrugs and nods, knowing his friend is right. Zayn stands up again to look one last time in the mirror.

“Yeah, this is it.” He says happily. “Now it’s your turn.” Harry whimpers and sighs, but smiles nevertheless, happy that his friend found a beautiful tuxedo for his wedding, glad that Zayn’s reaction about him liking Niall was positive.

That evening, when Harry’s home again, he thinks about what Zayn said. And thinks it’s probably a good idea to talk with Niall, or at least to hang out with him, since they haven’t spent that much time alone with each other.

He texts Niall about his idea, asking him to have some sort of movie night and Niall seems excited about it as well. They agree next Friday, and Harry already feels some nerves in his stomach just thinking about it, but also some butterflies.

NIALL.

Niall finds himself being extremely nervous when he’s standing in front of Harry’s door. He has been looking forward to see Harry again all week, feeling happy that he’d have some time alone with Harry, but from the moment he woke up that morning he had been nervous.
