This song resonates with me. I was in a relationship with a guy and he didn't treat me like his girlfriend. He always kept me at arms length and I really did feel helpless. I wish this song had come out when I was dating him because I really wish he was gay. That would have at least explained why he didn't treat me like his other girlfriends. That was until I found out that he never liked me in the first place, but that's in the past now.
