Chapter 8

Taehyung POV

The sky is purple with dark clouds as the night is falling in. Chaos erupts following with oceans of screams in air. Everyone is running away as if death chasing them while I sat there processing what is happening while hugging sktetchbook to my chest with shaking hands and racing heart.

I am half-human, how I am supposed to escape from evil force?

Hairs stand on my skin making me stay alert on edge as if evil force can attack me any moment, due to my wizard instincts.

"What are you doing? Run!"

Y/N voice snap me back from my trance, realizing the palace door is now open with different colours of auras coming from inside. Royals guards and forces were letting go of  their aura in form of waves to detect evil force around here and...

The waves are coming toward me.

Before it could touch me, Y/N quickly summoned large blue transparent barrier behind her to block the way for aura to come near me.

"Go! I can't hold it more longer" She almost choked in air.

Listening to her, I quickly stand up on my feet and stomp out from there far far away...

But I know they will still get me so it's better if I don't go home and wait for them.

And That's what happened after 10 minutes, I am inside waiting room with Y/N, Jimin and few wizards who were present at the site when spring tree disspeared.

The wall is made of black bricks, if it wasn't for white gem present inside the centre of ceiling which light rays reached every single corner of the room then it would've been looked quite gloomy. I am sitting on brown bench which is also occuping by Jimin and Y/N.

"We did mana scanning on all of these children except for half-human..." One of the investigator asks, looking extremely worried.

The other one shook his head, "But we can't use scanning on him, it will kill him!"

"Then what should we do now?"

Silence settles between them exchanging obvious message with their concern eyes that there is no another way.

"We didn't inform anything to his guardian too" He claimed as both of them briefly glance at me.

"Should we ask the General?"

"Yeah he might find any solution" He said before running inside his office to make call.

I let out sigh of relief, their stares were making me uncomfortable.

"Everyone can go home except of Kim Taehyung" The investogator announced

All of them gets up on their feet in unison, Y/N and Jimin threw worry looks at me. I smiled reassuring nodding at them that I am fine but in truth I am so scared that I never felt this much fear in my entire life.

They all walk outside and I caught small glimpse of famoly hugging their beloved ones before the door closes.

Suddenly a light greenish light glow in air making me flinch and familiar tall person appears from it.

For split second I thought it was evil force again.

"General!" The two investigation exclaimed saluting and Namjoon nodded to them with strange vibes of dominance. I breathe to calm my racing heart.

"What is the emergency? Don't you know we have to find evil force outside as soon as-" He was spoking sternly but he stopped mid-sentence when he cast his gaze on me.
