I stand at central park like the idiot I am, waiting for Charity to show he blonde ass and before I blow up in front of all these people. Then I spotted her familiar blonde scene hair and I go to met her.
"Charity!" I say waving my hand at her and she smiles at me.
"Hey!" she said happily then this dark haired girl followed up behind her and I give her a questioning look. "Oh right, Rem's this is Daren. My older sister."
"Hi" I reply quietly looking at her, slightly scared. Daren was more like emo and goth than scene so she kind of scared the crap out of me! Daren just looked me over, sniffed and turned away looking bored as always. Well alright then...I think then turn to Charity. "Shall we go or something?"
"Oh right, come this way!" she said pointing dramatically toward the richer houses and I blinked, well she lived closer than I thought. Charity lead us through some alleys and a few streets before we reach this large, green, house. I stand there for a few minutes just kind of dumb strucked.
It made my house look like a crap box and a half, it had a large front door that was soild wood and it looked like it belonged to a long line of rich ass people. It looked like it had fourteen rooms! Thats not including what secret passages could be there or like any dongeons.
"Holy shit," I say and I hear Charity laugh beside me, even Daren gave a amused snort. "What!? My house looks like an apartment compared to yours!" I wave me arms around for extra emphasis.
"I'm sure," mused Charity before heading up the steps, me following behind her. Suddenly for some reason I become very uneasy, I've never been one to be nervous but for some reason I am now. Most of my friends didnt let me meet their parents or anyone of their family, so this would be very new for me. "Mom! Daddy!" I hear Charity call and I follow the sound of her voice.
Charity was standing in the arch way to a veyr large living room that was probably the sized of my entire downstairs.
A women with straight blonde hair was sitting on a chair, looking rather bored with what Charity was wanting from them. Her dark brown gaze was hard and uninterested while a man with shaggy reddish-brown hair was smiling at Charity. His blue eyes matched hers and he was just nodding along with her.
"Darlin' what do you want now? We're very busy," said the women with a slight English accent to her voice, that was very odd since they where suppose to be from Texas.
"Now, Ellen, lets not be to rash. Looks like our daughter brought some friends," said the man, now he had a very thick southern accent. It was kind of funny, he was trying to mimick her proper talk with his accent.
"Yeah, Mother, I did bring a friend!" said Charity and she grabbed my hand, yanking me forward. I stumbled a bit then looked at them sheepishly. "This is Remi, Remi this is my mother Ellen and my father Seth"
"Hello," I reply kind of lamely, giving a small awkward wave.
"Really, Charity? You must bring more of your druggy friends into the house?" Ellen said with a look of distaste as she looked me over, "I mean look at her! The red hair and peircings? I thought we moved so you'd make normal friends, not make the same lowly friends like before,"
Well that hurt, I think looking at her with wide eyes, and Charity gave a small growl of annoyance.
"Yes, Ellen, Remi is the first person i met at school and if you dont like it then you can kiss my perfect white ass!" She hissed then marched up the stairs, dragging me behind her.
"Charity Wonda Jingles! Get back here!" I hear Ellen scream but Charity slams the door closed and growled firecely.
"Hate that fucking women!" Charity said and punched the wall, leaving a big hole in it.
"Dude calm down!" I say and grab her arm, looking at her sternly. Then i heard Ellen yell something else up the stairs in some off language.
Charity yelled right back, "No! Fuck you!"
"Charity!" i snap and she looks at me with wide eyes, I wasnt one to yell at people but this was enough. I fought with my family all the time but not usually this bad, and that was defiantly saying something. "Cool it, if she dosent like me than it's her loss now isnt it?"
She just shrugged at me and plopped down on her bed, which i know noticed. I took a look around her room, it was a dark purple color and had lots of holes in the walls from what seemed to be her punching the wall. Posters of bands hung around and it was very messy, though not to messy. Just a bunch of empty cans and pain lay around the floor.
Not to bad, mines aleast worst. I smirk and sit down beside her. We sit in silence when theres a knock on the window, a guy was standing in the window. He was gripping the siding around the window so he wouldnt fall. Well someone wants a death wish.
Chairty jumped to her feet and smiled brightly, opening the window and letting in two guys and a few other girls.
"Jason! Glad you came, got what I told you to bring?" asked Charity, hugging the guy and smiling like a mad person. I sat there while they watched me, they obviously knew me since i knew they went to our school.
"Yeah, here" he said and handed over a small brown bag. Then a familiar smell hit my nose, and my addiction decided to round its ugly head. Pot, and lots of it by the sized of the bag or there could be other things.
Chairty squealed and turned to me, a scary look in her blue gaze.
"Time to get this started! Texan style!"
