How young is too young?

Chapter 1 - Science Class

To make this easier to understand I will put the dates or the rough time that this happened so you can see how the characters have grown and how much time has past. 

Late March, 2019

7th Grade

The bell rang signaling that it was time to go from gym to science. As I walked the very short distance to my next class I chatted with my bestfriend at the time, Sam. We were talking about how it was going between me and my current boyfriend, James.

"He is so hardheaded. All we do is butt heads!" I said with a sigh.
"Maybe your the problem." Sam put her hand that was not holding her binder on my shoulder. "Nah, who am I kidding. He is a jerk. Why don't you just break up with him? I mean it's not like you really like him."
I mean she wasn't wrong. The only reason I was with him was because I felt bad. I know that is a terrible thing to do but his ex had broken up with him right after he had given her a Christmas gift. I didn't really like the girl that he dated before. No one really did.
"Shhhhhh. Holden might hear you!" Holden was James bestfriend. "I think I might break up with him here soon. I just can't stand him."
We walked into the class and the teacher directed us to stand at the back of the class. This meaning we were getting new seats. I wasn't complaining because currently I was sitting next to Erin, which is James' ex. We all stood against the back and everyone was chatting among themselves. Sam turned to me.
"I hope I get to sit next to Holden!" She has a huge crush on him but he didn't like her. He actually liked me and she knew that, but she tried anyway.
I really didn't care who I sat next to, as long as it wasn't next to Erin again.
Mrs. Herald stood at the front of the classroom with her new seating chart in hand. She started calling out kids names pointing to where they would be sitting.
The room was set up with many tables in capital 'E' facing each other with two separate tables in the middle.
We were getting to the last 6 seats and there was me, Erin, Randy, Holden, Mel, and a boy that I had never met before. Mrs. Herald sat Erin and Randy at the further end, Holden and Mel in the middle.
"Liv and Joey." Mrs. Herald pointed at the last two chairs.

I had never met this kid before even though he was in most of my classes. He was a shy boy with platinum blonde hair and sky blue eyes, I had never talked to him but, he seemed nice so I figured this wouldn't be too bad. 

We took our seats and the teacher put the warm up on the board. I sat sideways in my chair so my body was facing him but my head was pointed towards the teacher. We were sitting in the very back corner so I had to lean forward closer to him to be able to see the board. I had to put my left hand on his side of the table to support myself so I did not fall on him. 

He then turned to me and told me "I don't mind, we can switch seat if you want. If the teacher is okay with it though. That way you can see." I remember hearing his voice for the first time. It was deeper than most the boys in our 7th grade class, I liked his voice because it was relaxing to listen to. 

"No, I am okay. Thank you for caring though, I'm just blind and it's my fault. I don't wear my glass like I should." I smiled at him and continued working on my warm up. The rest of the class when by very quickly and we went to lunch after. Joey and his friend, Andrew never went to lunch. They would sit in our science class and eat there. They both were very quite kids, but I had a feeling that Joey would have a new friend soon. 

I didn't eat lunch that day because I never really did during 7th grade which was a terrible phase I went through. I had a feeling that eating would make me look weak and when I was weak I could get hurt. 

Me and James were going through a tough time at the moment, he was talking to his ex again and when he would 'go to bed' he was really just talking to her till 3 am. Now James never told his parents about us, and I still do not think he ever did. He and I never saw each other unless we were in the hallways at school because we had no classes together. So he wanted me to join weight lifting but I did not want to because my brother was there and I knew James would want to hug me and all that and I did not want my brother blowing it up to my parents. James and I were on the rocks, we would talk and no matter what we talked about we would fight. Anything I said he would find a way to twist it to make it look like I was being a bad girlfriend. Now James would make me feel terrible about things I could not control, like how I did not want to hug him because I was abused in a past relationship and I was just not ready for it. He use to say things like 'Erin would do this' or 'Erin would let me' and that would start a fight because I would not give in. Now we had not broken up before but I knew that either he would have to stop of I would have to do something about it, and by something I mean breaking up. 

But that is enough ranting about James, lets continue shall we.

 After lunch we went to our last class of the day, which I also had with Joey but in this class we did not sit together we were on other sides of the room. I walked to class with Ira who was my other bestfriend. Her and I would gossip about other people and she was the person that would get told who people like, I have no clue why people would tell her who they like. Don't get me wrong I love Ira but she can not keep a secret but she is amazing at getting people together. 

Her and I were talking about lunch and how James and I were not doing to good. She was trying to talk me out of breaking up with him but I knew that if I let him continue this then it would end up bad.

Hi reader, 

This story is a real life event. This is about people I know and how they have come to be the cutest couple in the school. Many people know this story and when I read this chapter to my friend she knew who it was about right away. I have changed the names to people just for their rights. I am not saying anyone I know would read this but incase they did I don't want them to get mad at me. I will not say who I am in this story, this story will be written in the view of the female in the realtionship. I know her well so I have her permission to write this story for her. In the next chapter we will be skipping 1 week forward this way the story will not be too long or boring. So yes there will be a lot of time jumps and I will try to fit the full event into a chapter but I want to keep the chapters under 2,000 words so people don't get bored with reading. I will go into as much detail as I can. And I will put the ages of people and descriptions also how everyone knows one another in a chapter for more detail if wanted. If I do that I will have to update it and repost it multiple time in this story because we will meet lots of people and see many go. I hope that you enjoy this story!
