It was about an hour before midnight. The sky was dark indigo, beaming with twinkling stars, and the breeze pleasant. I dashed out of the house, and the village in a rage. I brought my partner in crime, _____. He had been my best friend and pet for years. I was told never to dotel at night but I just couldn't stand being in that house.

I ran without any notion of where I was headed, my breath shaky and dry. I realized I was in a clearing with dark moonlight. My hard breath was the only warmth that could comfort me. How far was the village? Am I lost? I can't believe it. I walked further into the clearing 'staying here shouldn't hurt' I thought. I perched up against a tree, catching my breath. The sky was beautiful. That moment was ruined with _____ barking up a storm. He was barking at the darkest point of the other side of the clearing. I decided to turn around right there and travel the way I came from, 'It's too spooky out here.' "_____ come on! We're going home!"

I jumped at the sound of _____ releasing a yelp, there he laid with shallow breathing. "_____!" I instinctively bolted to his side. This clearing felt like a trap full of malice, I was so paranoid as I flipped my head from one side to the other, Nothing. I scooped up _____ and held him to my stomach, my body shielding him from the potential dangers. I scurried to my feet sprinting to the outside of the clearing, a strong force gashing my back, a shriek forced itself out of me. I frantically gasped for air. I felt as my body went limp, tears flowing out of my eyes, my lip quivering. I stumbled and fell flat with _____ slipping from my arms. Loud clanging and footsteps approached fast. Cackling could be heard in the distance as well. More tears swelled my eyes, 'Could it be the demon?'

Violent tearing and bones breaking startled me from behind. My whole body froze, paralyzed out of fear. 'What was happening!?' All I could hear was my heartbeat thumping, over and over. Two feet slammed into the ground one on each side of me. I was manually flipped over and picked up from the forearms carelessly. I wailed for help, snot, and tears running out my nose to accompany.

"PHAHSHSAA-" it cackled "YOU'RE SO WEAK!, LORD INOSUKE BEAT THAT DEMON IN SECONDS AND ALL YOU DID WAS GET HURT!" It observed me more and noticed the injured animal, I clutched. My vision was blurry and hazy from crying but I saw some sort of white bubbles coming out of its face. A soft and worried voice yelled out, "Inosuke!" Two blurry figures of Green and Yellow appeared from the outer clearing behind the creature that held me. It turned its attention to them as I struggled to get out of its grasp. I groaned and cursed, all I wanted was to have the pain disappear and sleep.

A loud winey screech burst-ed out as the figures ran closer. "INOSUKE WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?!" The yellow figure held me bridal style in a flash. "YOU DON'T TREAT GIRLS LIKE THAT DUMBASS!" he scolded, then turning his attention to me. My eyes finally started to focus more, the boy had blonde hair with orange tips that we're squarely cut, his hair was quite uneven but it suited him. As well as his droopy golden brown eyes which looked like he had been crying previously. He turned back to the 'boar thing' "I SHOULD KILL YOU FOR CARRYING A BEAUTY IN SUCH A WAY!" 'Is this guy serious?' "LOOK YOU MADE HER CRY!" he yelled angrily pointing out the red edges of my eyes. 

"NO I DIDN'T! IT WAS THAT DAMN DEMON!" The boar gestured towards my back and violently pointed at the disintegrating demon.

*BoNk---boNk* the green figure had bonked the two on the head. He had tanned skin and black ruffled hair with burgundy tips. It was slicked back revealing a nasty scar. His orbs were dark red and I could feel myself calming just glancing into them. "Hello there, my name is Kamado Tanjiro" he calmed in a gentle voice. "Would it be alright if I inspect your wounds?" I nodded, he felt trustworthy.
