My Draco Malfoy [Draco x reader]

Y/n POV

It's almost Christmas time and everybody is starting to pack. I'm not though, my parents are working. They're always working. I say goodbye to Hermione who is leaving for Christmas, but Harry and Ron are staying. Harry said that he is going to look in the restricted section to find information on Nicholas Flamel. I head to the common room to sit down. I sit on one of the couches and open a potions book.

Draco comes into the common room and sits next to me. "Are you going home for Christmas?" Draco asks, making me look up from my book. "No. My parents are working." I say. A look of sadness flashes on his face for a few seconds. "Same." He says disappointed. Our parents worked together, that's why our family's are close.

"Why is work always more important than us to them?" I ask tearing up. "I don't know." Draco said empathetic looking. He scooches closer to me and envelopes me into a hug. I find comfort in his arms. We sit there hugging for what feels like forever. He pulls away and wipes a tear off of my face. "It's all going to be ok." He says.

I wake up and it's Christmas Day. I excitedly push my sheets off of me and go down to the common room. I reach the bottom of the stairs and see a ginormous Christmas tree. It has silver and green tinsel and it's covered in ornaments. I look under the tree and see a lot of presents. I grab one that catches my eye and I look at the tag.

I rip open the present and see a whole lot of candy. Chocolate frogs, jelly slugs, Bertie Botts every flavored beans, and any other candy you can think of. I even found some muggle candy, like jolly ranchers, smarties, and peanut butter cups. I go through all of my presents and end up having a lifetime supply of candy, some new books from Hermione, some prank supplies from the Weasley twins, who have become friends of mine, and a lot more.

"Have you opened mine yet?" A voice says from the stairs behind me. I turn around to see a sleepy Draco. He grabs a small present tied up with a bow from under the tree and hands it to me. "Here." He says. I slowly unravel the bow and lift the lid of the small box. It reveals a silver ring that has a snake on it.

"It's beautiful." I say admiring the ring. "Look, I have a matching one." Draco says. I look at his hand and see a ring identical to the one he gave me. "Oh I almost forgot!" I say. I basically dive under the tree and pull out a medium sized present. I hand it to him and he slowly unwraps it.

"Wow!" He says pulling out the  thing I got him. It is a vile of liquid luck. "That is big enough to give you a week of luck, so use it wisely." I say. "Thank you." He says pulling me into a hug.
