Willow's parents are unknown. She was discovered on September first, 1981 on Platform 9 3/4. How she was there before the platform was open is a mystery.
She was found by a man who she knows not, and shipped to America by Wizarding counsel as a (most likely untrue tip) that she may have roots there. She spends her childhood contently, living at Ilvermorny year round.
At age eleven she attends Ilvermorny - while it was a good school, it was not a good fit for her and she wished for a more "advanced curriculum". It was deemed prudent she was moved to Hogwarts, as she did in her third year.
And from there, the story begins!
