Part 5 - Plain as the nose on your face

Distance makes the heart grow fonder literally describes how their relationship grows. 10,000 KM between them may look difficult to most people but Minho and Ggone adjusting well since over a month ago. Well..., they are Veteran for Long -'Distance' Relationship: On-screen, they are Lee Gon and Jung Tae-Eul - the couple that lives in a different parallel world; And Offscreen, Two strong-minded people that holding on (hard) to their feelings for each other for more than a year!.  

Things will not get much easier even if they are under the same sky of Seoul because as a celebrity, the luxury to meet freely and going out to enjoy dating life like normal people is near to impossible.

The great of being geographically away from each other (for now) is they can avoid unnecessary dating report(s) from hungry media in their country, and at the same time avoiding haters that may not favor their relationship.

I love yous and I miss yous becomes their standard line in messages they sent and preach to each other. They sometimes become cheesier when they both send each other food and coffee they ordered online. It was like the past years' of them in 'separate ways' never exists in their history book. 

Few days after their 'reconciliation', Ggone was surprised by the breakfast pack for her pre-ordered by Bae from South Korea to EOS Bakery when she drops for her breakfast routine before going to the University. The breakfast pack comes with a note: Extra special and extra love Macchiato is meaningless without Kim GoEun.

A week after that, HT came to MYM office to send a box of Macaroon with a note 'Hope your day fill with colorful happiness and sweetness like a Macaroon - From your fan number 0'. Minho was beaming the whole day and refused to share the macaroon with Min-jun and Young-Mi which make both of them roll their eyes at their boss. Yun Jeong on the other hand, stole it from Minho when he went for a meeting. Yun Jeong brought the whole box back home to show their parents that her brother acts like a teenage boy in love.

Ggone supposes to go back to Seoul in end-October for 2 weeks, but because of some changes in the academic restructuring in her course which affected all her papers, course work, and presentation she decided to cancel the trip back to Seoul and complete her second last term. That means she unable to be in Seoul on the date of her grandmother's death anniversary and her flight back to Seoul postponed for another 2 months which will be in early Dec. 

Ggone was a bit emotional almost the whole day on her grandmother's death date but was calmed down and started to smile again when she video calls her parents. Mr. Kim said, she should not be sad because her grandmother is now in a better and happy place with the Almighty. 

She put a lit rose-scented candle beside her grandmother's photo. Look at it lovingly, then closed her eyes, intertwined her fingers, and murmur a prayer of love and say how she missed her grandmother. Lots of sweet and happy memories flashing through her eyes and she can't control tears from flooding her checks. 

She refused to take any calls or video calls from Lee Minho because she does not want to show him the sadness that will obviously scream in her eyes. She messages him instead told that she only available on messages because she was busy with friends at the University. 

Minho knows why exactly all his calls and video calls were ignored.  He knows that Ggone tries to hide her sadness. As much as he wanted to share whatever feels Ggone has that moment, he does not want to push her unwillingly. So, as always, he will continue to be considerate and lets her do whatever makes her calm and happy. The day will come when he will be able to hold and share every single feeling with her. Good things come to those who wait.
