For the last few weeks, you had been polishing your skills. Even though you had gained swordsmen ship from Ryuu he forced you to train.

These days weren't easy. As someone who spent their entire life inside the house, you had to work on your stamina the most.

This was the only way you'd survive in this world. Before training, you were sure that you wouldn't have even reached a lower rank demon slayer's ability.

Today was like any other day, you got up before the sun and trained till your hands gave up. Ryuu trained along with you, better the skills he had gained previously.

Seeing as you were stuck in Kibutsuji's domain, you had no idea of telling where you were in the events of the manga.

You hoped that the spider demon mission had not finished yet. That would be your only way to help the demon slayers and the Hashira.

You headed back into the house, noticing Ryuu who sat silently in thought; something that he'd never do.

"Is anything specific on your mind?" You asked glancing towards him while grabbing yourself a cup of water.

Ryuu snapping out of his train of thought, nodded in response."I have heard a few members of the corps during my outing mention an upcoming mission in the mountains. If I remember correctly, then that's our only chance to warn them." He said turning his attention to you.

You hummed in response, "Today evening, we shall go out to town. Hopefully we'll find a way to the mountain. After that we should probably go check it out. I don't want to miss out on an opportunity." You said waiting for Ryuu to reply.

Seeing as their was no response, you turned towards him to see Ryuu staring at you with stars in his eyes." As expected of my master, I really do admire your thought process."

You blinked a few times before cringing,"Dude, a child would say the same thing." 

Before you knew it evening had arrived. You grabbed you sword sheathing it before leaving with Ryuu by your side.

You had tried to talk to the locals but they seem to avoid you due to your style of clothing that wouldn't fit this time period. The fact that Ryuu towered over you like a buily didn't help either.

Dejected you walked around the village hoping for someone to help you.

"Excuse me," You heard a stern voice from behind you call out. " I see you're having issues with asking the locals a question. If you follow me, I can help you fit in and answer any question you have.". He said.

Ryuu glared at the man with jet black hair with purple tips." You're a fool if you think I'll let slime li–" you jabbed Ryuu in his stomach before smiling at the man infront of you.

"Of course, I'd greatly appreciate it."

The man nodded before asking the both of you to follow him. He led you towards a western style house which stood alone in a silent neighborhood.

"Before we go any further let me introduce myself. My name is Arenshia and I'm the owner of a clothing shop down the village," He said seating the both you you down before disappearing into a room.

When he returned, you introduced yourself before forcing Ryuu to introduce himself to the young man infront of your.

Arenshia placed clothing infront of you, urging you to pick what suited your taste.

"I appreciate this but as of now, I have no way to repay you." You said inspecting the clothes infront of you.

"I expected that but it is of no concern. It's quite obvious that 盗まれた力  has chosen you as it's next master. That in itself is a good trade for clothing. It's the least I can do for you," He said passing your clothing of choice to you.

Your head snapped up at the mention of 盗まれた力 ."You've heard of the ability?" You asked raising an eyebrow.

"Heard? It was once mine. Unfortunately not many gods agree with a fallen god having such ability, and so I stripped of it," He said taking of the mask that adorned his face, showing the scar that cut through his neon green eyes.

"That's impossible, no where does it mention any god, only demons. A fallen god? I doubt," Ryuu said growing suspicious of the man who sat infront of him.

Arenshia smirked before addressing him," If you want proof you can use 盗まれた力  on me," He said passing a piece of paper to you.

"The route to mount Natagumo."
