PROLOGUE

"Is that all ma'am?"

I slowly nodded and smile at the girl as a response. She smiled back and left.

I ordered egg and bacon for my brunch. I just arrived around 5 AM in the morning. Natulog ako saglit sa bahay kasi pagod na pagod ako sa biyahe tas pumunta na ako dito sa usual café.

I'm in a café near the place where I will meet my friends. The place is not big or small but it's cute. This café is called Tea block. It's a block away from a university which was my previous school before I left this place baka doon nila kinuha yung name nito.

While waiting for my order, I took some pictures to post on my story with a caption

"guess where?"

I laughed at myself before posting it. Akala mo talaga may maghahanap. Feelingera.

They immediately serve my meal and I put the phone on table, beside my plate. None of my friends actually know that I'm going home and will stay here for a week. I just told some of them when I arrived in Bicol.

I was looking outside of the shop then suddenly memories starts flashing back. When was the last time I visited this place? I can't remember for I was long gone.

"Deja Vu..." I whispered to myself.

Shook my head and continued eating. When I'm almost done my phone rang and got a message from my bestfriend.

"Where are you? we're here na. I'm gonna kill you if this is a prank." My mouth formed a smile when I read her message.

Gosh, I missed them.

Dali-dali kong tinapos yung pagkain ko para makapunta na sakanila.

I'm just wearing a simple white crop top, high-waisted jeans, and black chuck converse with a lana del rey tote bag.

This style is always my go-to outfit. I don't know why, it just feels comfortable. It feels like me.

As I walk down the street, I look around and noticed that nothing has changed in this small city. It's still the way it is except for the additional new stores. The buildings are still the same.

May narinig akong tili sa malayo. Boses pa lang kilalang-kilala ko na. I'ts Aika, my bestfriend. She ran towards my direction. Aika always welcome me with a tight hug but this time we almost fell because she just suddenly jumped on me.

"I missed you so much, Trixie!" She wrapped her arms around and cling into my neck. "I missed you too!"

Where is Rain?

Rain is my bestfriend since elementary. We've known each other for 12 years now. I can't believe we made it this far. ang dami rin pinagdaanan ng friendship namin.

Nakita ko siya kumakain ng fishball sa kanto ng O. Street. Lumingon siya saamin ni Aika at mukha pang nagulat na nandoon ako.

"Gago! Totoo talaga na umuwi ka!"

Tumawa ako at hinampas siya para talagang maramdaman niya na di siya nanaginip.

Rain also hugged me and then Aika joined. We're literally having a emotional group hug. Nakakahiya kay manong kasi nakatitig lang siya sa'min. Parang may sama ng loob. Tinapos muna ni Rain yung inorder niyang fishball at umalis na kami.
