JANELLE's POV
"We're ready for you" McGonnagal told us with a slight smile leading us to the Great Hall
The ceiling was beautiful, i was amazed of how beautiful Hogwarts is.
"It's not real the ceiling" Hermoine told me while looking up "it's just bewitched to look like the night sky. I read about them at Hogwarts, A History" she smiled
"Alright, you wait along here please?" McGonnagal started "now before we begin, Professor Dumbledore would like to say a few words"She announced
As a cue Dumbledore got up his chair and spoke.
"I have a few start of terms notices i wish to announce." He started "The first years please be informed that the Dark Forest are strictly forbidden to all students. Also, our caretaker Mr.Filch has asked me to remind you that, the 3rd floor corridor at the right hand side is out of bound to everyone who does not wish to die the most painful death" I gulped as he finished speaking, i looked over to Ron and Harry and had the same reaction as mine, terrified.
"When i call your name, you will come forth, I shall place the sorting hat into your head and you will be sorted into your houses" Professor McGonnagal said. "Hermoine Granger" she called and the brown-haird girl stepped forward. I can tell that she's really nervous.
"Mental, that one" Ron said earning a nod from Harry
"Hmm.. ahh.. right there.. GRYFFINDOR" the sorting hat announced making the rest of the Gryffindor house to clap, Hermoine got out her seat with a big smile on her face making her way to the Gryffindor table.
"Draco Malfoy" McGonnagal called
The blonde boy walked up proudly, taking a seat on the stool. Before the sorting hat even touched his head, the hat immediately yelled "SLYTHERIN!" Causing the Slytherin house to clap and Draco winked at me before he took his seat
"Do you know him?" Ron asked
"Yeah, i met him at the train" i responded
"Martin Clerig"McGonnagal called again , making a black-haired boy with hazel eyes sit on the stool.
"Hmm.. i see. I know where just to put you.. SLYTHERIN" the sorting hat yelled earning a clap from the Slytherin table, he proudly walked to the Slytherin table with a huge smile on his face.
"Ronald Weasley" McGonnagal called, Ron was walking towards the stool obviously nervous
"Ahh! Another Weasley, i know just what to do with you" the sorting hat started "GRYFFINDOR" making his brothers and the other Gryffindors clap!
"Janelle Elishia Clearwater?" She said,
Ok relax it's just sorting, relax Elishia! I thought, i was nervous. I want to be in Gryffindor where Hermoine and Ron are hopefully Harry too
"Hmm, pretty hard, lot of courage, ahh! GRYFFINDOR!" The sorting announced making the Gryffindors clap again, i stood up and made my way to the table shaking hands with the others
"Harry Potter" Harry hesitantly walk in front, McGonnagal puts the sorting hat and..
"Ahh.. difficult.. very difficult. Pleanty of courage, i see, not bad in mind either. Theres talent, oh yes, and a thirst to prove yourself, but where to put you" ths sorting hat said, making Harry close his eyes and whisper something. I could hear it but it feels like he's whispering "Not Slytherin, Not Slytherin"
"Not Slytherin eh? Are you sure? You could be great you know. It's all here in your head. And Slytherin will help you on your way to greatness! There's no doubt about that. No? Well.. you better be in... GRYFFINDOR!" The sorting hat announced
"YES!" I yelled and clapped with a huge smile on my face, Harry made his way into out table and sat beside Ron while shaking the other students hands
"I knew you'll be in Gryffindor!" I told Harry still with a huge smile on my face.

"Your attention please" McGonnagal yelled after she tapped the glass with her fork, Dumbledore stood up, he's gonna say something "Let the feast Begin!" He yelled expanding his arms
Foods just appeared from the table, i smiled at myself, and looked over at Draco, he's enjoying... eating. I shrugged and grabbed a chicken infront of me.
"Im half and half" Seamus started "Dad's a muggle, mum's a witch" he said turning his head from Dean to Neville "Bit of a nasty shock for him when he found out" he finished and continued eating
i already took my chicken when a head pops out from the table causing me to drop my chicken on my plate and also making the other first years gasp
"Hello! How are you? Welcome to Gryffindor!" The ghost greeted, other ghosts also got in the Great Hall
"Hello sir Nicholas! Had a good summer?" Percy asked while eating
"Dismal. Once again, my request to join the Headless Hunt has been denied" He answered and turned his back on us
"I know you"Ron said shile his following Sir Nicholas' ghost "you're nearly headless nick!" He said
"I prefer Sir. Nicholas if you dont mind" Sir. Nicholas said
" 'Nearly' headless? How can you be nearly headless?" Hermoine ask causing Harry to Roll his eyes and i chuckled a bit
"Like this" sir. Nicholas said grabbing his head and tilting it. Yup Nearly Headless fits him well my eyes widened when i saw them .

"Boys dormitory up at the left, Girls same as the right" Percy announced "you can find all your belongings been brought up there" he finished and turns back
I looked at Hermoine and she looked back at me. WE'RE ROMMIES!! Along with the twins Padma at Parvati. Im already loving them
"It's getting late. We should go to bed. Goodnight" i said making my way to my bed from Moine's.
"Goodnight Janelle! Goodnight Hermoine"The twins said in unison also and made their way to their beds
"Goodnight Parvati, Padma and Moine"I said yawning earning a chuckle from the three girls
"Goodnight" Hermoine said laying on her bed.
Im already loving this girls. I hope my first class tomorrow wont be too bad. Im excited for Potions, and DADA. I yawned again and fell asleep.
