Chapter 1- Michelle's story

A horrible accident. One small tiny mistake can destroy everything, your family, friends or even the closest people around you.

That mistake is what happened when Michelle was born, in the proses she lost her mother and blames herself about it ever since.

Michelle never knew her mom, only from pictures or even stories, what she knew about her mother was that she was very kind and cheerful. She made everyone around her to see a whole different picture.
Plus, her best friend turned out to be Bethany's mother as well. But what nobody knew was they had a little secret of their own.

Now back to the present Michelle is coming to 16 years old and Bethany is already 15 years old and they both go to the same school. So being apart wasn't hard for them, they had good grades and always had after school activities like their favourite was drama club. They both wished to amazing actress in the future.

"Hey, what are you doing here Beth?" I said.
"Ohh I'm actually here to see you because my mom is here and we have to get back home" Said Bethany.
When i heard the word " Mom" or "Mother" i would always felt like i was missing something like a part of my love had just died.
"Ya, sure just get in the car without me first i have to find someone" i said.
"You mean Chase? Your crush?" Said Bethany.

And when Bethany had said that name i turned around and asked Bethany to keep silent. Nobody else knew about my little crush on Chase. Chase is one of those boys that likes playing soccer and was always athletic and stuff but i was not his type for girls. I always wanted to try out for their cheerleading quad but i knew i was not a popular enough to get in. When Chase came out from the soccer field with his gym bag and a towel and it felt like I met someone that had made me have butterfly in my stomach which was my first time feeling it.

"Anyways I'm heading to the car, good luck" Bethany slowly walked away and winked.
"And i exactly knew what is going to happen because Chase is already heading my way, what should i say to him?"
I asked myself that in my head. And the next thing i knew he was standing right in front of me.

Hey! You are that girl from my science class right? Chase asked.
Ohhh yes, i am, you know me? I asked
Well, ya of course "you are like the smartest person in the class" he said.
And well of course those words were in my head the whole day.
I just stood still just thinking about what he had just said.
Hello? Are you still here? Chase asked
I was frozen I couldn't move talk or even blink. It was like i was stuck.
Then he asked again " are you okay? Can you hear me?"
"Ya, of course i can hear you and yes I'm fine. Anyways what can I help you with?" I asked. "Well, i was wondering would you like to be my tutor for this semester? And no worries you will get paid of course" he said with a nervous voice.
"Ohhh i was surprised you needed a tutor aren't you like the second smartest student in the class? I asked of course but I don't know why do i have to ask that when i know already what my answer will be.
"Ya , about that i have been failing and if I don't pass science class my parents wont let me play soccer anymore," he said sadly.
Is this a dream come true? I asked that to myself. "Well, yes of course i can tutor you until you get your grades up," i said to him willingly.
"Thank you so much, here is my number text me and i will give you all the information needed" when Chase wanted to say something we heard a loud honk from the parking space and someone shouted "Michelle get in the car now we are late!!!!" Bethany's mother said.
Sorry Chase, I have to go my ride is waiting for me anyways I'll text you later, Bye! And before he could respond he got called by his friends calling him to come over for snack.
