hello hello! So this is a Seongwha x Reader fic! kajsh hope you enjoy! This is my first kpop fic so bare with me please ;-;
Y/N's POV:
"Noa!" I exclaimed, running towards to blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl. "We need to get the group together today!" Me, Noa, Adam, and Jacob are all apart if a group called "Lanta". We aren't very popular, but we still love what we do. Noa is our vocalist, Adam is the sound effects guy and rapper, Jacob is also a rapper and vocalist, and I am just a dancer and editor.
"Hey Y/N! I unfortunately can't today but you guys can practice without me."
"Aw man. Okay, can we try tomorrow?"
"Sure thing! What time?"
"Hmm. Maybe 5:00 P.M.?"
"Sure!I'm down for that."
"Great! Cya tomorrow!" I walked home but got a little side tracked by the thought of leaving the group. I was offered to go to Korea to be a back up dancer with the group called ATEEZ, but i wasn't sure about it. I listened to their music and watched their videos and absolutely loved it! But i don't want to leave my home in Virginia. That's the only reason why im hesitating. I don't want to leave my friends,my home, or my family! But this could really be the only opportunity I have... At least i have one week to reply, right? I snap back into reality and realize i drifted down an ally way. Ugh, where am I? I walked down a little more but then decided to turn around. On my way out of the ally, I heard some voices talking.
"Yeah, I agree. She's so bossy! I can't take her anymore!" Wait, thats sounds like Jacob.. I peeked around the corner and saw Noa, Adam, and Jacob. "I agree! Should we kick her off?"
"Please! I don't know how long i can take her. No one focuses on us but on her now when we preform." I was shocked for sure. But thats when I realized what my decision was. I walked out of the ally way and walked passed them, not making eye contact. Fakes. That's all you guys are. I arrived home and i checked the mail before going inside. Bills, bills, bills. Maybe all this is a sign to go to Korea. I went inside and threw the mail on the counter. I threw myself on my bed and stared at the email i had received.
"Y/n,
Hello, miss Y/N. We are KQ Entertainment in Korea. We've seen you dance and we would really appreciate it if you came to Seoul, Korea, to be one of ATEEZ back up dancers and teachers. We don't pick just anyone to join us, so I hope you'll consider it. You have one week to reply. Have a nice day!

I think i should go. I mean, what else do I have to lose? I hit the 'reply' button and began to write.

Hello. I have given it a lot of thought and I have decided to go to Korea. Let me know when I should leave.

I pressed send and I got up to make some food. After cooking and eating, I counted up my money to see if i had enough for the flight. Ugh, I'm $100 dollars short..I can ask my friends for some money.. wait no, they aren't my friends anymore.. I know! I'll start working at the convenience store. If i work 24 hour shifts, I should get $100 in three days!
I walked over to the convenience store and looked for the sign. Dang it. I was too late. They already hired someone... I'm just gunna go home to bed... I arrived home and threw myself onto my bed and under the covers. I woke up the next morning to an email from KQ. "Y/N,
Hello, miss Y/N. We are glad to hear that you would like to join us in Seoul. No need to worry about the plane ticket, for we already paid for it. You leave on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. your time. We can't wait to meet you!

I can't believe i'm going to Seoul! I'm glad I took those Korean lessons in college. Well, I leave tomorrow. Might as well go over to say goodbye to those fakes. I got dressed and headed out. I texted everyone to meet me at the park with the lousy fountain (its legit not even a fountain!). I arrived and sat by the fountain and played Among Us. I looked up to see they had arrived. "Hey Y/N! Whats up?"
"Hey guys. I wanted to meet to tell you something."
"What is it?" they questioned.
"I'm moving to Seoul, Korea, on Saturday."
"WHAT?!" they shouted.
"Yeah. It will be better for you guys and for me. You guys could get more attention and I could learn more about dance there."
"Who says we will be better off without you?" Noa asked.
"You said it yourselves. You'd all be better off without me. Anywho, I have to go pack since i leave tomorrow. Cya." I walked off and hopped on my bike.
