Y/N's POV:
I woke up bright and early and decided to lay there for a bit before getting up. I sat there in the dead silence before looking at my phone to check the time. I shot up as i saw the time and began to rush around to get ready. It's already 10 am?! Why the heck did they not wake me up? I jumped out of bed and got ready for the day. I pulled my hair back into a messy bun and made my way outside of my room into the kitchen. I looked around to find nothing, except for a full pot of coffee and a note beside it. I walked over and picked it up and read aloud, "Dear Y/N, we will not be home today until later tonight due to sudden changes in our schedule. We are so sorry we didn't wake you, but you looked so peaceful. Anyway, see you later!" I set it down and began to wonder how i was not notified about the schedule changed, but after a few seconds i began to make some coffee. I turned on one of my comfort playlists and began to dance a bit as i drank my coffee. After a while, i went back into my room and decided to tidy it up. About ten minutes into cleaning, my phone began to buzz. You have (1) new message. Wonder who its from. I unlocked my phone and saw the message was from my mom. Shoot.. I forgot to tell her about my move... I took a deep breathe in and clicked on the notification and began to read it.
"Dear Y/N,
Hey, its your mom. We haven't spoken in years, how is dance going? Oh, and happy birthday! I hope you dont mind if i stop by your place tomorrow night.
Love,
Mom."
I stared at the email and began to panic. Crap! What do i do? I can try to call her.. no, ill reply to her email. Wait no, i need to call her about this. I went to my communication folder and went to the phone icon. I stared at her contact, scared on what she was going to say. I pressed it and hit the phone icon, causing the phone to ring. I hold my breathe until i hear a familiar voice at the other end of the phone. "Hello?"
"Hey Zak. Is mom available?"
"She's at work. You do know its the afternoon, correct?" Ah yes, i forgot the time difference.
"Yeah, duh. Well i need to talk to her as soon as she gets home, okay?"
"Okay, bye."
"Bye! Good luck on the job search!" you hung up and layed down on the couch to watch your favorite drama, Put Your Head On My Shoulder (Its a super good kdrama and i highly recommend it!). I began to slowly fall asleep when i suddenly heard a knock. Who could that be? I went to the door and looked through the peep whole to find no one there. I opened the door to see if anything was on the door step, and sure enough, there was. It was a small black and white kitten. "Awww hello there!" I carefully knelt down and began to lightly pet it. After a minute of making sure the kitten felt safe, i picked it up and brought it inside. I set it by the fireplace in a box and got it some water to drink. "Who would leave you outside little guy?" He let out a small meow as i heard the lock on the door turn. I looked at the time to see it was about 6 PM. They must be back already. I picked up the kitten and went to greet them. Jongho opened the door and walked inside looking panicked.
