Time for Goodbye's and Hello's

The time had come for my dad to drop me off at the Weasley's. I dreaded it for a long time but I knew my summer wouldn't be a terrible one. At least we got to use apparition to get to the Burrow and not a boring old muggle car. The ride to the Burrow was quick but no matter how many times I had apparitated I still feel very sick after.

The Burrow looked different than I had imagined. I knew there would be magic pouring out of the sides as there was but I didn't expect it to be as tall as it was and the amount of levels that just seemed to be glued on was crazy. In the yard there was a home quidditch set. I knew my summer was going to be fun. I have known this family since my first year at Hogwarts and my father knew them before that. What could go wrong?

My father and I walked in and Molly gave me a great big bear hug. It was so nice to see her.

"Children, y/n's hear!" She screamed loud enough for everyone in the burrow to hear.

All of a sudden 5 children came running down the stairs sounding like a freight train. Fred made it first and bragged to George that he beat him, then Ron, Ginny, and finally Bill.

Fred and Ron gave me a great big bear hug. That was needed as I had missed them so much. George gave me an awkward high five. I gave little Ginny a hug. She wasn't very old but she is the only girl in the house so I believe we are going to become besties. I had never met any other than those three so it was my first time meeting Percy and Bill.

Why hadn't Fred told me how hot his brother bill was? I thought to myself.

My dad decided it was time for him to go. Oh how I was going to miss him. I gave him such a long hug and never wanted to let go but he finally said it was time for him to go. I watched him quickly disappear into thin air and I was left at the Weasley's for the whole summer. What fun is that going to be.

"y/n your going to be sharing a room with Ginny. She has an extra bed in her room you can sleep on. If you want for the time being you can sleep in Charlie's old room because he's not here right now but I can't guarantee that it's clean or what you might find in there." Mrs.Weasley explained to me in such a tone that made me feel safe.

" I'll share a room with Ginny if she doesn't mind"I said cheerfully.

"Of course I don't mind! I always need another girl around here. These brothers just don't cut it."Ginny Said with a smile on her face.

"Hey!" exclaimed George and Fred at almost the same time.

Had George always looked like that I thought to myself. He looks different than Fred and they were finally standing out to me. He just looked kinder. I knew he was shyer but was he also as kind as I'm thinking he is right now.

NO! Stop it! you can't think like that he's your best friends twin brother and he's basically one of your closest friends. You can never do that!

"Yoo Hoo y/n! Anyone in there?" Fred exclaimed waving his hand in front of my face.

Had I been staring? I guess I didn't notice.

Ginny helped me carry my trunk up to her room. It was basically a trek up Mount Everest because of how many stairs there were in the burrow. By the time we got to her room I was out of breathe. We pushed open the door to her room and her room just looked so cozy inside. Ginny had flowers everywhere, posters of her favorite quidditch team basically covering every inch on her walls, and the bed frames were made out a dark brown reddish wood almost like the color of her hair but with a darker tint. Not long after I had settled in Mrs. Weasley called us all down for dinner and much like when I arrived everyone ran down the stairs.

The dinner was an amazing homemade meal, something that I had never had before. Sitting at the dinner table with all of the Weasley's just felt like home. The conversation was always very loud and happy, never pausing for one moment just flowing like a river. I ate my meal incredibly fast and had seconds of the amazing dish. After dinner I offered to help Molly clean the dishes but she looked at me like I had three heads.

"Sweetie we have magic that can do that" she said to me in a very sweet voice "Go hangout with the kids I'm sure they would all love to hangout with you"

And so I went looking for everyone. I finally found them playing quidditch in their backyard. I quickly got on a broom stick and made my way up to everyone else.

I had survived my first day with the Weasley's without announcing my feelings to Fred and without killing George so I knew this summer wasn't going to be terrible.
