"I could just lay here forever." I look up at him, suprised that he had disturbed the peaceful silence that had settled over us. "I would be pleased to." I say in my Southern drawl. His green eyes sparkeled happily. "I love you." He tenses in suprise. "Are you serious?" I feel my eyebrows draw together in confusion. "Of course! I wouldn't joke about that." That wonderful grin of his slowly appears on his face. He jumps and grabs my hand, pulling me up off the grass. He then throws his arms around me, enveloping me in a bear hug. "I love you too Marcie!" I laugh gleefully. "Carson-Can't-Breathe!" He delicately sets me on my feet. We just stand there for a minute, soaking up all that had just happened. And in that moment in time, everything was perfect.
