They were driving back to Salieri's bar in the dead of night, they had to go do a deal that was on the other side of the city.

And it was where Paulie hated going
…the woods.

The three just couldn't wait to get back to the city, why? Well, the ride was long and Paulie was complaining almost the whole time about being out in the woods. Also the car Tommy was driving wasn't in good shape really. But they took it not to attract much attention.

Just when the ride couldn't get any worse the car begins to act up, and comes to a slow stop. Making all three let out a sigh "great…" Sam says almost not sounding surprised. "Tommy go check the engine." Tommy looks over at Sam with his eyebrow raised "I'm not going out there." "What? Ya scared?" Paulie says with a laugh. Tommy rolls his eyes but knows he's gotta get out of the car anyways. "Paulie, go help him." Sam tells him "why me? I don't know shit about fixing a car." Sam doesn't say anymore and Paulie knows it won't be any use in debating whether who goes to help. And another reason he didn't want to get out was because it's cold.

"Need help there?" Paulie asks Tommy who was looking at the engine "yeah, can't see nothing…use your lighter." Paulie fetches for his lighter and flicks it on, using it as a light so Tommy can see what he's looking at.

After a few minutes Paulie was getting cold and impatient "y'almost done there, Tom? Freezin' my balls off here." Tommy sighs "this would go a lot quicker if you helped fix this thing." "I'm holdin' the lighter." Tommy rolls his eyes "holding a lighter…" he says under his breath.

As Tommy was trying to fix the car, Paulie begins to hear sounds coming from the woods.

"Uh, Tom…?"

"What?"

"Did you hear that?"

"Hear what?"

Paulie listens out for the sounds again, this time he heard tree branches cracking. And the sounds were coming closer.

"Tom…could you hurry up." "YOU want to fix this thing?" He won't admit it but he was a bit scared, and the last thing they needed was to see a bear or whatever lingers in the woods. "How you two doing?" Sam asks from inside the car "would be a lot better if two helped." Tommy says with clear frustration in his voice.

Paulie looks towards the woods and saw a man standing there, then two more show up. "Tommy…" he doesn't answer but instead focuses on the engine "T-Tommy..." Paulie says stepping away as he got a better look at the men coming closer to them, but there was more than three. They appeared to have cuts and gashes on their disfigured faces, and their clothes were worn and tattered, also walking to them with a limp. The closer they got and their hands reaching out to them. "Tommy…Tom, we gotta get the fuck out of-" before he finished his sentence he felt he bumped into someone.

He turns slowly and what he saw makes him drop the lighter and his eyes go wide "FUCKIN' ZOMBIES!!" he yells and runs off down the road, startling Tommy and hitting his head under the hood "for Christ sakes Paulie-" Tommy freezes when he saw a zombie just standing there looking at him. Not thinking twice punches the zombie to the ground and runs off the same way Paulie went, leaving Sam alone in the car.

Sam heard everything and wondered what happened, "What the hell hap-" he gets out the car and was meet with a zombie standing in front of him.

"…"

"Fuck this!" He shoves the zombie away from him and runs off. "Tom! Paulie! Wait the fuck up!" Sam says catching up to them, who were actually scared…mostly Paulie.

……

"That was fuckin' hilarious!" Dino says laughing his ass off "yeah, did you see Paulie's face?" Lou laughs as well as the other guys. They decided it would be fun to scare Salieri's guys since it's y'know, Halloween season, plus to get back at Sam, Paulie, and Tommy for whatever reason. "Okay, let's get outta here." Dino says after all of them finished laughing and joking about their reactions "we're lucky we didn't get shot though." One says as they were leaving.

"What the fuck was that?!" Paulie says pacing back and fourth when they got back to the city. "and you two just left me there? Christ…" "well, I didn't-" Tommy couldn't find the words right now.

But then after getting himself together, and thinks for a moment. He starts to laugh quietly "what?" Sam asks with his brow raised "it's halloween, right?" They stop "yeah, what's your point?" After a short silence, they all start to get it now.

"Fuckin' Dino and Lou!" Paulie yells "I shoulda known…" Sam says after "well, they want tricks, we'll give them tricks." They walked back to the bar discussing how to get back at Morrello's guys and boy, did they have some good ideas.
