—I'm tired, I swear that I won't go to classes tomorrow.

—You always say that Cristina, but you always go.

—For real, Kate, I'm not going tomorrow. It's too late and I won't have enough rest, and I really don't feel like going to Nicholson's class.

—Okay, whatever you say, I won't talk you tomorrow in the morning to wake up.

I really don't want to go. I never skip classes, but I feel really bad. My dad doesn't want to answer my messages or calls and my mon either. I remember the day when I told them that I was leaving the country.

I was just 17 and they said "oh yeah, okay" but I actually did. One of my aunts travelled here and I came here with her, but I didn't go back home. They didn't talk to me for almost a year, they just asked my aunt how I was, because I used to only talk with her. That year was hard. I had to job the whole day and night to get enough money for a room. After three months I met Damien, he offered me work with him at the coffee and a room for free. He told me that in this college I could gain a full scholarship if I passed the exams, and I did. Now I just work a little part of the day to live the day to day. All this thanks to Damien. That's why I really consider him a big brother, he's always taking care of me.

I don't want to go to classes, because I feel everything is going back to that first year with my parents. They are still not happy of the fact that I'm here. I'm really tired of that.

My alarm wakes me up at 8:00 am and I turn it off. I'm not going.

But what if there some surprise exam? Or a good visit to somewhere? What if they choose where is the next field trip and I don't like it? I think I should go...

I prepare a breakfast to eat sitting in my bed. I bought a mini fridge with Kate, so we can have our own food in the room. I take my showers before go bed so I'm basically ready, but I put some make up on. Kate came into the room with her hair wet from the showers.

—I knew it. You don't skip class— she said with a critic look.

—I made you breakfast.

—Of course, you did. The week went too fast. Are you ready for tomorrow? —she asked me while takes a bite to her sandwich.

—Yes, I already packed my pajamas.

—No, no, no, no. You have to bring something else! We are not staying at home the whole weekend! We need to go to a club! —she got mad.

—We are taking the weekend off to do our project.

—But look at you! You need to party! You need to clear up you mind! Meet a guy, dance the night away and say goodbye!

She was right, I really miss a night out dancing and drinking with her. I used to go to every party I could in Chile. I miss the dancefloor.

—Okay, alright. I'll pack a dress or something like that...

—Yeaah, that's my girl!

—We have to go, or we will be late. — I said while I was finishing my tea and picking up my books.

—But I haven't finished this yet...

—Tough luck, my friend, but we have to go.

I was right about not skipping today's class. Today arrived an exchange student from Australia, his name was Oliver and he's 20. It's weird that tourism career got exchange students, almost all of them goes to the health or the engineering area. We were all excited about it, we were like little kids asking him things about Australia and explaining things about here. He was pretty nice and attractive, may I add.
