Caleb

I wake up on a stretcher. It looks like Four has gotten me into really bad shape. The last thing I remember is him knocking me out cold. I don't trust him. Never have, never will. I don't want him messing around with my little sister. I walk out of the infirmary, and I run into him. I try to walk past him, but he pushes me to the wall.
"You should watch your back," he growls.
I straighten. My palms are moist.
"Don't be messing around with my little sister," I say as evenly as possible.
"I'm surprised you said that, considering what you pulled."
"Listen, I did that for drastic and logical reasons," I say.
"Once a nose, always a nose. I just didn't think you were such a pansycake."
"Pansycake?"
He pushes me away so hard that I almost fall over. He walks away, probably going to talk to Tris. I walk to my room. I examine my minor wounds on my face. I have a bruised cheek and a black eye. Jerk. I don't know what Tris sees in him. Sure he's handsome, but he is Marcus's and Evelyn's son. I can't trust him with my sister.

Tris

I pace in my room wondering what will come next. I survived. What do we do now?
We're going to fix this mess.

"Tobias, Tobias," I call out.
"Tris, what is it, he asks.
"Let's leave!"
"What?!"
"Leave; let's go back to the city and tell everyone everything," I say, excitedly. I have never felt this feeling before. It is like we have to tell the people. It's like they need to know the truth; I need to help them.
And yet I never felt this way in Abnegation.
"Wait, go back?" He obviously doesn't want to go back to that dreadful place where one of his his fears is lurking.
"Yes," I shout.
