stepping foot in this peaceful and beautiful place, jisung's getaway whenever he had no where to go, the city boy had never once put his phone down. not because he wasn't interested in the place that's up from another hill, that's quite far from the male's cabin. in fact, chenle loved it so much, too much that he can't stop himself from taking pictures in every step he takes.

as for jisung, he would have gotten mad by now, but he didn't know why he's just letting him be.

but somehow, he's just looking at the smiling city boy that's taking a picture every section. he's not irritated by it, nor feeling the need to be annoyed by him always being in his phone. he's just standing there with a glass of water in his hand, eyes on the boy that's roaming around by the backyard, and lips curving up to an adoring smile.

and the question haunted him again, is he blinded by love or is chenle just a little bit cute today?

being oblivious at the stare, chenle let out an unintentional adorable gasp when he saw something interesting in the middle of taking pictures. "jisung!"

snapping back to his senses, the said male blinked his eyes rapidly before raising a brow at the city boy that's running towards him while bringing something. "yeah?"

"it's a leaf!" he said like some alien from another planet.

and that confused jisung in so many levels. he knew the chinese had never been to the countryside, but there's no way he hasn't seen a leaf in his entire life. "i can see that?"

"you look at me like i'm stupid—" chenle heaved out a sigh before stating as to why he's so amused by a simple leaf. "the shape, ji!"

squinting his eyes, jisung looked like he was solving the most hardest puzzle in his nineteen years of living. "it's... a leaf-shaped leaf?"

sighing once more in disappointment, chenle decided to point it out for him. "it's an apple, jisung. you know, that brand?"

having his mouth shaping to a circle, he tilted his head to the side as he didn't find any reason laugh at it. the younger just really doesn't get the city boy's sense of humor. "that's... interesting." and to make it more awkward that ever, he raised his free hand up and gave him a thumbs up.

"i guess you can now call it," snorting, chenle looked like he was going to laugh hard before he's going to say the joke. "an ileaf."

jisung could have sworn, his ears were ringing from the chinese's dolphin screech. "woah, that's really... hilarious."

"i know right!" no, he didn't really get the sarcasm in the taller's voice. but hey, at least he's laughing like a mad man. and for some stupid reason, jisung adored that laugh when he kept on joking around with his mark hyung and his wheeze. "and i put it on a vase, it'll be ivase!"

he's really having the time of his life laughing at his own joke. meanwhile, jisung drank his glass of water and had to empty it before chenle stopped laughing.
