Prologue

It's been years after Edeline was born. Her parents lived happy together in a mysterious home that disguised to normal human beings just a regular nice house. They were a family of the Lanthium race. Her mom Stella Goodwind and her father Jax Darlin were a very beautiful and happy couple. Stella Goodwind was stunning with her deep dark brown locks , tan skin and gloomy lavender eyes. She always had a badass essence to her look and outfit. Jax Darlin enjoyed reading, painting , and much of what the human life has to offer. He looks a lot like his dad; he has a glow silver hair, tan skin, nice green eyes and is very muscular like because he trains a lot . As Edeline grows up as a child, she has always wonder around her parents abnormal objects and doings. Her parents found out their home planet was in huge trouble , so it's why they lived in the mundane planet called earth to protect themselves and their child Edeline. They made a huge decision,but they decided it was the best thing to erase Edeline's memories of her special race to be unknown and for her to just live a normal life away from danger! ...
Every year for her birthday, there was something new and surprising her parents did for her . " Sweetie wake up! It's your birthday today!",her mom shouted with excitement. Edeline open her eyes with a very wide smiled expression. " Yes mom! I'm coming ". " Happy 18th birthday honey ", her dad said and kissed her and left to run some earrings. "Bye father, see you this afternoon". Edeline went up to her mother to help with decorating her cake. It was a family tradition to make cakes for every event and it even tasted better then the one from Publix." I have someone who is finally coming today! " her mom said. "Who is it?"."It's your grandma Petra Goodwind!". 'WOW! I have a grandma' she thought in her mind. This was the most memorable day for her ,along with already graduating from high school. Now, she was free to do whatever she liked ,and her parents would support her ninety nine percent because the one percent was for themselves. "Mom? , I'm going to go to a cafe ... I will be back "." Okay sweetheart, just be safe and do you need any cash?". "Ummm... No thanks mom, you don't have to!", she closed her mothers hand where she was holding the cash." Take it , it's your birthday and I want to make you happy before someday I will never see your face again!", she gave her the money and looked at her daughter with sad but cheerful looks. "Mom!, don't say that...I could never live without you or Dad". They both hug each other and Edeline stepped out the door smiling at her mom with grace.
Edeline was walking pass the streets to the cafe called " Windom Towers ". She glanced in it and saw this cute boy sitting in the cafe and reading his book. The boy saw her and looked at her. She came in the doors ready to meet him,but Edeline finds herself with a surprised expression. Edeline thought in her mind and said " he's gone , where did he go?".It's like she was out of her mind. Why and how could she see some guy that perhaps doesn't exist? Is there something wrong with her? Edeline relaxed her brain muscles and sat at a table at the very corner. The maid came in front of her and said"What would you like to order?". "I would like some green tea and a pumpkin muffin please". The maid wrote it down and left to the chef area where food was made and ready to serve. Edeline sense something strange about the maid, thought she could feel something weird and mysterious about her. She was beautiful ; she thought . The maid walked out holding the two items age ordered and setting them to her table. As she put the green tea on the table and then the muffin she almost drop it, but Edeline caught a hold of it.Something Edeline saw on the maid got a shocking interest. The object fell on the ground by gravity. It was a weapon , but not normal. It was glowing very faintly and look like it was made out of something that no one on this earth was able to get a hold of .Edeline was going to pick it up until the maid said"don't touch it please,it's very valuable to me "."okay...." Edeline looked at her like what's wrongs with touching the object? The maid just left afterward without saying anything back. Edeline thought how rude she was,but didn't care. She took a sip of her green tea. It tasted very nice and warm to her soul. Then, she took a bite of her pumpkin muffin. It was so good with the moist texture of the muffin and had a sugary crusted brown sugar packed on top of the muffin drizzled with white chocolate." The best muffin!",she thought in her mind. With the last bite of her muffin and she finished her tea.She left her cash on the table and started to walk out the cafe. While she was walking out the door ; she bumped into this boy.It was the same boy she thought she was hallucinating . He grabbed her and got a hold of her. They both looked at each other. "It's you!...I'm i seeing things!"." Ummm...maybe, but you might want to be careful!". As Edeline blinked, he was gone and disappeared. Everyone herd her and they thought she was crazy talking to herself. She ran out the cafe as fast as she could and felt really embarrassed. It's the same guy who keeps on disappearing. What was going on with her? She was wondering what he meant by"be careful!" . Now she was confused on what was going on with her. It was afternoon ,so she started to walk home from the weirdest day in the cafe.
Edeline stepping in front of the door; she twisted the doorknob. " SURPRISE! HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY!" , her family said. "Awwww... Thanks you guys are the best! ". " Grandma Petra ! I'm so glad you came!", Edeline said with joy! " I wouldn't miss it for the world ", her grandma hugged her. "I have a gift for you, but first, we are going to celebrate! ",she smiled.
They sat at the dinning table together. Her mom presented the cake and the rest of the food. She made spring rolls, sunshine salmon, baked marshmallow sweet potato, ribs and Italian pasta. They looked all so good and the smell just lifts the air with delightful ness . " This food is the best!", stuffing her face in it as she ate. " Your welcome , it's grandmas recipe ", her mother said. "So, how's your day been going Edeline? ", her father said." It's going great, but strange things happened in the cafe?", Edeline said with confusion. " Like what?". " Well I saw this boy and then ...he just disappeared and I don't know what's going on with myself?". " Well you might just have a case of birthday excitement!", her dad said not knowing what it meant ,but knowing what's going on with Edeline.
It was present time. Edeline was stuffed and full . Her grandmother and parents went to go grab their presents they got for her." Here you go honey!open it!",her parents handed it to her with a smile. She opened the nice box wrapped up in a nice whimsical wrapping. "Wow!,it's a beautiful necklace!". "I'm glad you love it!, but you should wear it everyday".The necklace was a beautiful glowing stone and her mother placed on her neck."Why do I have to wear it everyday?". "Well...because it looks nice on you honey!,promise you'll wear it everyday?"."yes of course,i love it!". Her grandmother handed hers to Edeline."open it sweaty ", she said. Edeline was surprised when she pulled it out. It was such i beautiful mysterious piece."what is it grandma?"."it's a antique fabric that you tie on your two hands; it's a family tradition". Petra knew what it really was , but she couldn't tell her the truth for her own safety. She thought someday Edeline will need it if danger comes." Thank you so much grandma!",Edeline hugged her.
The sunset was setting outside; it time for her grandmother Petra to leave. Edeline gave her last hugs and got ready to go to bed. She did her daily routine; she took a hot shower, washed her face, and brushed her teeth. She went into her nice cozy bed and checked her normal teen social media.The room was shining bright with stars glowing out in the night sky. Edeline got very tired and tucked herself to bed all nice and cozy with happy dreams. Later on the night, her parents were still awake."Did Edeline sleep yet?" Jax said. " yeah , we should be good now "Stella said. They went to there secret place under their room where many equipment and other things were keeped a secret from Edeline. "When are we going to tell Edeline about our kind?" Jax said whispering."Well, that we'll have to find out and if anything happens, well we're going to have Jason explain it to her",Stella whispered back. "Yeah true, eventually they are going to meet each other and hopefully she will get used to this...after all we erased her memories!". Stella took his hand holding them with sympathy. They were worried what was going to happen if a situation had come where they had to leave her without any explanation.
During the night they got a message from there home planet dimension."hey, you awake?",Stella said with a worried face. "What!?, yes I'm awake now",Jax said as he woke up from his slumber."We've got a really bad problem!"."Okay!,let's pack up our weapons and leave a note to Edeline that we have an mediate vacation", Jax said and took a piece of paper.Stella looked at him and said with calmness"it's about time she will know who she really is ...". They slide the cabin open and took their swords,healing sticks and many more putting them into their bags . Stella stuck her dagger into her boots and was dressed ready for a battle along with Jax.Jax had his swords on his back and was dressed all in black. He tested out one of his nuclear guns.These guns were not to be touched by humans for certain reasons.If a human laid a finger on it, they would disappear to another dimension. This is how the society of the Lanthiums worked.It is tough,but it is the law in order to keep the world safe. Many worlds like this had a similar law,but now they are extinct. Now it's up too Edeline the future daughter to make the society better for once , her father thought. Her father and mother putted the note they explained on to the kitchen table where Edeline will perhaps find it ."Are you ready?",her father said softly."Ready as i ever will be...",her mother smiled but still was worried. They took their telescopes.While they were holding their hands together, they both looked into their telescopes and it teleported them to their home planet.Now, it was empty in the house except for Edeline who is left alone sleeping without knowing her parents are gone.
