AS THE KING'S BLOOD HAD DRIPPED patiently from the sword that Soo-Won gripped harshly as he stared his empty eyes back at the Former Princesses of Kouka. Yona's eyes were as empty as his own while Y/N was filled with tears.
It was as if the memories of their father echoed back like a siren's call, wanting her to go back to the way things used to be. But the moment one person makes a mistake, or the earth tilts a little differently, the whole idea of what once was is lost.
"S...Soo-Won..father..is..hurry..call a doctor.." Yona tried to reach out to her father's body, but Y/N held her back, her face tense up. "Yona no.." Her voice was dry, cracked, and was barely above a whisper. "Emperor Il's eyes will never open again."
Yona's blank eyes looked up at Soo-Won, while a cold shiver went through Y/N's body. "Dammit, all.." Y/N clicked her teeth at everything that had happened. "I killed him."
Y/N was now over everything Soo-Won. Never did she want to see his shiny blonde hair, nor his sea-foam eyes. Everything she had shared during their tea sessions was merely the thing of the past. She doesn't want to hear his voice, his laughter, his jokes, see his smile or his blush. She didn't want him.
"Wh-What are you say-ing..? You..would never..do something like that.." In Y/N's hands, Yona dropped her weight, making them fall to the floor. The older princess had to lean against the door due to the emotional distress she felt. "That Soo-Won is gone Yona. Don't..don't confuse yourself.." Y/N puffed out.
Yona and Soo-Won talked out the Lord's reasoning behind his betrayal while Y/N could only bite her tongue. She waited for the opportunity to leave and besides, even if she felt terrible in this moment, Yona must feel worse.
Once the explanation of how Soo-Won thought the Emperor was the one who killed his father, Yu-Hon, was over the Fire Tribe's army burst in the room, scaring Y/N. "We have everything prepared! Oh. So you've achieved your long-cherished wish, then?"
