The Girl of Fire

Chapter 2:Training?

That just happened.I heard Irene scream.My dad ran out the house crying."Kate,you and Irene were adopted,some guys just told your sister.You two can control fire and ice,you came of age and needed to be sent to your real home..I wanted to keep y'all but,that couldn't happen,the ice guards came and time your sister.The fire kingdom is coming for you,now."

"How do you know that?" I said.

"They told me when I got you." he said.

"Who?" I asked,with desperateness in my voice.

"Your real parents." He said while crying.

Suddenly two men came out of a red portal.The looked like me with rock amour.And the rock are had cracks with lava flowing from it.So,typically they looked like male versions of Lava Girl.The also has hair that was fire.One guy ate a twig and his fire hair grew.

"Katherine Colson,you're coming with us."The twig eater said.

"No."I said.

"Ugh,teenagers."He said while the other one stayed silent.

"I love you Kate!"My dad said.

The two men grabbed me and put me in the portal with them.I looked at my dad as he cried harder.

"Why do I have to come?" I said through my teeth,first my sister,now me? No way,I'm not going down without a fight.

I kicked Twig Eater in his balls and punched Quiet Guy in the face.

So,only Twig Eater went down,but Silent Guy laughed and punched me in the face,I was dizzy.

Suddenly,everything went black.

I woke up to the sound of a man.He was yelling.I opened my eyes to see,a King  yelling at the men who brought me to the portal.

"She was supposed to be here awake!"The King shouted at the top of his lungs.

"Your highness,she started the violence." Quiet Guy said.

I got up and crossed my arms.

"Aaaahhh,she's awake," he said while coming over and hugged me.

"Get off,you weirdo!I don't know who you are and I don't care!"I shouted while pushing him off.

"She has my temper,very nice.She also looks like me.Honey,I'm your father."He said.

"You?No,I'm just a girl from North Carolina." I said.

"You are my daughter. One of two princesses."He stated,very proud.

"Irene,she has no powers."I said.

"No,she has her mother's powers,ice."He replied.

"Well,you're fire,I'm fire,Mother is ice,Irene is ice.So,am I getting punked?"I questioned.

The King facepalmed and said"Kate,you are not being punked.This is real."

I'm the princess of fire.The girl of fire. That has a nice ring to it.Irene is,the girl of ice.Nice ring.

"I will have Lucas train you."My father said.

"For what?"I question.

"Your powers and combat."He said walking away.
