Chapter 1

Your POV

As I approach U.A. high school, I realize I don't know where I'm supposed to go.  So I start to walk towards Piricpal Nezu's office to see what class I'm in, I find out im in 2a I am so excited to start this year even if I'm a first-year and everybody else is a second-year.

Mr. Aizawa tells me to come in and I do as im told. While he's introducing me, my eyes drift off to look at Tsuyu Asui. When Aizawa finishes he asks if there are any questions for me. Very quickly a hand rases it belongs to a young boy that looks about  17 years I learn that is named Izuku Midoriya. One of my favorite training hero's besides Katsuki Bakugo who is going to be the Number 1  hero and Tsuyu Asui the cute frog girl.

As I answer Midoriya more hands go up to ask more questions. Asking me to demonstrate my quirk to the class. I do without hesitation showing them my quirk, they seem very fascinated by it.

You look towards Aizawa and he lets you sit down next to a boy with half white and half red hair. He tells me his name is Shoto Todoroki and he's the son of the second hero Endeavor Todoroki. After a while, I became friends with him.

Shoto's POV

As I see (y/n) coming near me I start to face the window to make sure that she doesn't see me blushing at her. I tell her my name is Shoto Todoroki, she not really talkative I admire that about her. Finally, I build up enough courage to ask her out, surprisingly she says yes. After school, she texts her mum I think telling her that she's going to be out with a friend.

We start walking towards my house so she can meet my "wonderful" father, she must be really excited because she's skipping. After a while she asks, how's your home life with your parents? As I look over at her I realized that she's looking sad while asking. I decided to tell her the truth about Endeavor as I tell her her face gets excited again.

Your POV

I get excited when Shoto tells me about his father but then I remember what my "Father" will do if he finds out I'm with a boy. Im sure to get locked in the basement with no food, no water, and no bed again for the tenth time this week. I try not to show how hungry I am at school. But when we get to the Todoroki's the smell of food overtakes me and my stomach clenches. I feel like I'm going to faint for not eating for so long, I can not even the school food because my "father" never gives me any money for anything even though we are rich. He always tells me to get a job because her doesn't want to be responsible for me and he only wants me for my quirk.

Sometimes, I wish my mother was still alive she would always stand up for me when "Father" acted like this she was the only one to stand up for me. But she's gone now and there's nothing I can do, sometimes I wish I had a time quirk so I could stop her from my "dad". I wish I could tell her to run away from him when she had the opportunity to. I try to go back to happy thoughts after remembering my wonderful mother.

Shoto's POV

A few seconds later (y/n) is laying on the floor. I have an emotion coming out of me and I don't know what it is. I quickly called my amazing sister(I can't remember his sister's name plz don't kill me)she comes in a hurry. I realized that she could tell that I was scared for (y/n)'s life by the tone of my voice.

I pick up (y/n) yo take her to my room. After I lay her on the bed I notice a few marks on her wrists and neck. I decide to ask (n/n) after she wakes up.

Your POV

I had this weird dream of someone shaking me awake. I admittedly wake up due to my fear if I didn't. Shoto tells me that I fainted and then he asked the one question I wish he didn't. Shoto asks me to explain the scar on my neck and the cuts on my wrists. I tell him that it's nothing that he should worry about. After that, I decided to take my leave. I tell Todoroki that we shouldn't hang out anymore. I have to hurry home even though I can tell that "Father" is on the couch drunk.

I sneak in through the window I can tell that "Father" hasn't come into my room because there isn't anything broken or torn apart. I hurry to put on my very long t-shirt and go to bed before "Father" comes up for his nightly routine, aka abusing me I just want to get in a little sleep before that happens. I wake up an hour later with "Father" screaming at me. In my mind, I try not to get angry and take off on my gloves; I don't need to be traped in the basement again.
