Chapter Thirty-Four

Katy's POV

I can't believe that I'd just told Zach he was going to die. I was trying to calm him down when Jordan burst into the room.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING!?" Jordan yelled in his Alpha Tone.

"I just told Zach." Was all I said, because I knew Jordan knew what I was talking about.

It took 2 hours for Jordan and I too explain everything too Zach. He was furious by the end of the explanation. I was still drawing shapes on his back trying to calm his wolf.

"Look Zach we'll talk about this later we need to be prepared for when Eric and his pack come here tomorrow." I told Zach.

He let out a growl and ran out of room. I was certain he went for a run. 

Which then left me and Jordan to talk.

"I didn't think you'd tell him." Jordan said while staring at me.

"Neither did I. Him not knowing was eating me up inside, more so it was eating up my wolf." I replied as I looked up into Jordan's eyes.

"i'm proud of you for telling him the truth he had a right too know." Jordan said and walked closer too me.

"Thanks Jords." I said and hugged him. Damn those sparks and damn the mating bond.

3 hours later:

I was sitting on the kitchen table waiting for Zach when I heard the door bell. I got out of my seat and walked towards the door. I opened the door and saw a sexy alpha. I knew he was an alpha because his body was streaming with power and demand. He had a bunch of warriors behind him.

He bowed his head in respect for me.

"Miss Rose. Pleasure to finally meet the Royal Wolf, and my best friend's mate. Well half mate." He said. When he said best friend, I knew it was Eric.

"likewise, Alpha Eric." I said and bowed my head this time.

"I see Zach's already mentioned me." Eric asked looking around for Zach.

"Oh he's mentioned you. Not just once but more then a few dozen times." I said, Eric gave a low chuckle.

"We weren't expecting you here today?" I asked Eric.

"Well Zach called my an hour ago and we figured why not come by earlier." He replied.

"Right. Well Zach hasn't been home for 3 hours now." I said and cocked an eyebrow.

"Oh. Well he called me and said he was home." Eric said with confusion.

"When did Zach call you again sorry?" I asked with concern.

"An hour ago." He said.

'KATY! It's Zach his hurt.' My wolf Alyssa spoke in my mind.

"Shit." I cussed.

"What's wrong?" He asked me with more concern.

"It's Zach his hurt, my wolf can feel his wolf in pain." I replied. "I'm sorry our first meeting had to be like this but I need to go and find him." I said to Eric. 

I shifted without giving Eric a chance to speak. I moved my head in another direction asking Eric and his warriors to step out of the way. Eric simply stepped away from his warriors and shifted to. I gave out a thank full growl and then sniffed the air. I growled again and ran towards where Zach's scent was coming from. 

I ran at full speed. Letting my wolf take over completely. Alyssa kept sniffing the air for scent, something wasn't right about it though.
I noticed that the scent was getting stronger. I was running towards the north part of the territory while Eric was running behind me.

'Katy! Where are you?!' Jordan mind-linked me.

'I'm running towards the north territory. It's Zach, he's hurt.' I relied to Jordan.

'No he isn't. It's a set up, Christina and the rouges planned it.' Jordan said quickly. I stopped running and Eric crashed in too me.

'That's not possible. My wolf Alyssa felt his wolf hurt.' I told Jordan.

'Zach did get hurt. Christina cut him with a silver knife. Not a major cut a slight cut. Enough for Zach too feel a bit of pain and enough for some blood to come out.' Jordan said.

'Fuck. Eric and I are running home now." I replied and broke the connection.

I mind-linked Eric about the set up and eventually we both took off. 

We ran back to the pack house. I shifted and found Eric a pair of shorts. Like everyone he looked at me with confusion. He came our from behind a tree he wasn't wearing a shirt. Man he looked hot, he was one hot sexy alpha. NOT STOP, KATY STOP! Why the fuck am I thinking about Eric like this!

"How?" He asked me and I knew exactly what he meant when he asked.

"Royal Wolf." I shrugged.

Eric and I ran inside the house and saw Zach sitting on the couch. I bolted to him. No one saw me because I was like bullet when I ran over to him. 

"HOLY SHIT. Are you okay babe!?" I asked as my eyes roamed over his cut.

"I am now." He replied childishly.

"Jordan, Alex sorry meet Alpha Eric." I introduced Jordan and Alex to Eric. They started up there own conversation. I was sure that Alex and Jordan were explaining to Eric and his warriors what was going on.

I took the opportunity to get some answers from Zach.

"How did Christina set you up?"i asked Zach as I sat next to him.

"Well she took a silver knife and cut the cut in my arm. Blood was pouring out. I mind-linked Jordan and told him. He and Alex came down to fight Christina and the others but they were gone by the time they arrived. The scent you smelt was mine but it was my blood. Alex and Jordan has rescued me. Christina set us up because she waiting for you too arrive, so she could take you." Zach replied.

"Oh." I said while trying to process the information slowly. "May I?" I asked as I looked at my left hand and Zach's cut. 

Zach nodded. I ran my left hand over his cut and then it disappeared. I'm glad I can heal cuts and stuff multiple times. If only I could bring back the dead multiple times.

"Thanks baby." Zach said as he stood up from the couch. I stood after him and he leaned in, to give me quick peck on the lips.

"Let's go say hi to Eric, properly this time." I said to Zach and took his hand in mine.
