insane

chapter 1

my screams echo in the distance..i feel the demon arising. when my eyes open, i'm laying in my bed with my mother hovering over me. screams tumble out of my mouth like a wildfire. "let's go. we have to drop you off somewhere today" mother says. i slowly get out of bed, and eat the breakfast mother has laid out for me. miso soup and a small portion of rice, i see. i eat slowly while staring at my mother, urging her to tell me where she will drop me off. "okay, izumi. listen to me. ill be dropping you off with some friends of mine. get dressed and let's go." mother says.

i nod slightly and go get dressed. i think about my dream. how i was screaming, how i felt something in me click. quickly i get dressed and go to mother. we get in the car and quietly drive to her friends. when we get to our destination, we stop in front of a musty old bar entrance. "mother-" i don't get to say anymore before she shoves me into the bar. little did i know, i would never see her again.

the moment i get shoved in, i feel pairs of eyes on me, staring into my flesh. i look up and see odd looking individuals eyeing me up and down. a girl comes down from her stool that she was sitting on moments before and skipped over to me. "omg, hi! i"m toga, nice to meet you! welcome to the-" the girl toga gets cut off by a blue haired man. "toga, she hasn't decided to join us yet. shut your big ass mouth." the man smirked. "now then, izumi, ill tell you all about us."

he goes onto a huge explanation about how my mom was a villain, dropped me off here, and thought that i should become a villain too, because of my quirk. i carefully listen to him and when he is finished, i speak. "okay. i do get what you are saying, and i do support your idea. ill join. " the words tumbled out of my mouth and i am not sure if i truly meant them, but it seemed to make the people in the room happy. "cmon, izu-izuuu! lemme show you your room!" toga drags me to a big room at the end of the hall and opens the door to reveal my dream room. dark red lights, soundproof walls, spikes on the walls, hoodies in the closet. i smile, surprisingly. "thanks, toga. can i please be alone for a little while." i ask, and she nods and leaves while skipping. i sit on the bed and let the demon come out.
