My name is Elizabeth Gander, but everyone calls me Liz. I don't know about you, but from my experience, every teenager thinks their life sucks. Most of their lives don't suck but there are some that do. For example, my mom gave birth to me when she was 17. My dad was a druggie and my mom was a goody goody so she told my dad "either ditch the drugs or ditch me" and, being the coward he was, he ditched my mom. I grew up with an ocean of guys around me who cared about nothing but my mother. Six years later, somewhere along the way she got pregnant again, and had my sister. All of this stressed me out a lot. The only outlet I had was my two best friends; Gayle and Tyler. I was a bit of a tomboy so having a girl and a guy as my best friends helped a lot. Gayle and Tyler were twins who came out at the exact same time which is almost impossible. Riley was born 6 years after me, so we didn't get along well. She didn't understand my problems and declared every single one of them to either be stupid or a lie. Just as I finished elementary school, Riley started Pre-School. I was relieved to know that we would never be at school together. Riley felt the need to make everything that happened at home a public story. My mother thought it was adorable and worshipped Riley. For two years this was the same routine until I hit high school and everything changed.
