Tyler's face is all I see. Surrounded by a halo of shimmering gold, as he slowly ascends. As his ascent grows faster I take the chance and kiss him. For a moment it seems that Tyler is floating in the air, motionless. His lips taste like honey and are soft. I resist when I feel the pull of the imaginary force causing him to ascend. He is wrenched away and keeps ascending while I jump and attempt to bring him back down to me. He grows smaller and smaller and blinding sunlight starts to envelope him. I collapse to the ground and watch as he leaves and takes with him all of the joy. I start to tremble. The tears forming in my sleeping eyes awakens me. I have had that same dream for almost a whole year; since Tyler left. I wish more than anything that I could see him again. The first day of high school was a day that I wanted to share with my two best friends. I sit there and lay in bed thinking about Tyler and Gayle for almost 30 minutes until I glance at the clock and have a mini heart attack. I am going to be late on my first day of high school. I throw on a purple shirt and jeans and rush out the door. i one live a block away from the school so if I run, I can get to school on time. I reach the school doors with 13 minutes to spare. I look around and see him. He has dirty blonde and is wearing a red shirt, skinny jeans, and black vans. The weirdest part is, I think it's Tyler.
