Dear Diary,
Daddy was home, so I couldn't stay with mommy. She was calling me upstairs, asking me to play hide and seek. I wanted to play so bad, but daddy won't let me alone. Nanny Eleanor played with me instead. I went to hide. In the balcony of my room, I saw mommy standing alone, looking at the giant trees far from the house. I asked her what she was doing. And she said that when daddy will sleep like a sleeping beauty, she will take me to that place so that we could play hide and seek. I told her that we should go now. She smiled and asked me to jump from the balcony. She told me that she will catch me so she jumped first. I was about to jump but Nanny Eleanor grabbed me from the waist and scolded me and asked me what was I doing. I told her that mommy would've caught me and I would have been safe. Then she took me to her bedroom and told me to take a nap and that she would stay with me. Maybe I'll play the game with mommy some other time.
