"His kisses are so tender yet so rough"
Going back to the months where it all started, how Shasa met the love of her life...
It was May, the skies were grey, the cold Johannesburg wind was coming in and Shasa was in her room thinking about how she ended up in such a dark place and she will never get to see the light whilst packing for her first day at Boston College, but then on her first day of college she came across Kagiso, what they both did not know was that they were going to end up being so important in each other's lives. They got to know each other on Shasa's first day of college and they sat and talked for hours that's when Shasa knew that this person will be in her life forever, she just didn't know who he will be and Shasa never thought Kagiso will be her love but she was hoping he wasn't going to be, she never imagined him being the love of her life now she was glad to meet Kagiso. She was on the run and he was the opposite of what she looks for in a guy, he's kind, he's weird, he's caring and he's understanding. After all the things Shasa had been through all these years, she still stayed strong and she did not want anybody else, Kagiso was the one for her. He was a gentleman and she loved all of his flaws too, Shasa loved his dumbass so much, every time she was sad he made her smile by being the dumbass that he is. It made her laugh, even more, he put the smile on her face and made it permanent and Shasa had never been happier with someone in a healthy relationship but the one thing in the way of her finally being happy forever is that she had a secret a really big secret about her secret life, she couldn't commit to him, though she went through so much at the beginning of her journey to find the love she found the one and got married to him when she was 21. Shasa can't even trust him yet because she is afraid that if she lets her guards down, Kagiso will leave her, but the thing is that Kagiso is not like the others at all he respects her and adores her just like how she adores him. Shasa knows he won't leave her because he has told her and reassured her. She just needed time like a year or more to commit and open up to him about everything.
After Shasa got out of the car and gave her mom and older brother a goodbye kiss, she was walking along the pavement on her way to look at her list of lectures that she had that semester.
In the hall...
There were so many people and it looked like such a big crowd the way they were all bunched up and Shasa couldn't get through, then someone came rushing past her making her drop her books.
"Shucks!" Shasa said under her breath whilst picking her books up
"Hey let me help you out with that." A stranger said
"Thanks." She said
Kagiso helped her with her books when she got all of them, and they both stood up
"Hey I've never seen you here, are you new?" He asked smiling
"Yeah." She smiled
"What's your name?" Shasa asked
"It's Kagiso." He responded
"Oh, that's a nice name I'm Shasa." She said
"Well I need to get to class I mean I can't be late on the first day you know." She chuckled
"Yeah, hey can I have your number, and maybe we can go out sometime." He offered
"How about after my lecture." She insisted
"I'm going to the same lecture anyway so?" Kagiso said
"Ok fine but don't give it to anyone else." Shasa demanded
Whilst on their way to class they exchanged numbers and they went to lectures for the rest of the day after school when Shasa was on her way back to her dorm tired from the first day she met Kagiso on the way and they started talking about everything and getting to know each other. When they got to Shasa's dorm she invited him in to get to know each other better.
An hour later.....
They were still talking and they got hungry so they ordered pizza but Kagiso did not like pizza so he ordered a burger and fries
"You don't like pizza?!" Shasa said with her mouth open
"Yeah I just hate the way it has so much cheese and the crust is too thick," Kagiso responded with a laugh
"No you just got canceled and you are now not my friend." She said
"Hey! People have their own opinions." He argued
"Ok ok." She laughed
They laughed so much at their little debate on what food was better
"Does your boyfriend ever tell you how cute you are?" He sighed from laughter
"Umm...I don't have one." She said stroking her arm awkwardly
"Oh well, then you'll find someone who deserves you." He said lifting her head to look at her and stroking her cheek
"What if they are closer than we think?" Shasa blushed
"I'm kidding, we just met eight hours ago and you're already putting me in this position." She laughed whilst blushing
"You're so sour and I guess I'd have to change that," Kagiso smirked
"You lived in America your whole life and I lived in Africa so it isn't for the weak." Shasa laughed
