Chapter 3

Forth's POV

I arrived at the infirmary quickly rushing through the door I immediately searched for Beam and eventually found him in the corner of the room laying unconscious in the bed with Ming sitting beside the bed looking worried. Ming and Beam were cousins so I thought it was natural for Ming to be extremely worried about Beam. I approached the bed carefully almost scared to see what condition Beam could possibly be in. Ming notices as I got even closer and moved out of the way giving me a clearer view of Beam's body. His shirt was open and what I saw appalled me. His skin is laced in blue and black bruises and lacerations, some look deep and definitely need a professional doctors opinion. There is tracing of blood littered around his torso with multiple cuts seemingly made by some sort of sharp object. There are some bruises around his throat that look like he has been strangled and a few bruises on his wrists accompanied by Rope burn that make it seem he was in a situation where his hands were tied up.
"What could of possibly happened to him?" I ask myself that that's not the important question I need to ask. "Who did this to him?" I thought
I could feel my anger building as my eyes trailed over Beam's normally flawless skin until I noticed the blood drips on the pillow from the back of his head
That was it! I snapped!
I pulled out my phone and immediately called my father and Beam's dad in a joint call explaining the situation.
As expected they were livid possibly even worse than I was. I wanted to kill anyone who hurt my lover and they dared to do this to him.
Forth's dad: Forth, I'll send some people to investigate if it was any of mine or Aaron's rivals. You need to send your men to investigate Beam's where abouts today and look for any clues. Don't worry we are going to catch the people who did this to him and make them pay.
Forth: I'll send some people right now and I'm taking him to his family hospital.
Aaron: Forth please look after my son. Something like this has happened before and judging from that he isn't going to take this well when he wakes up so I recommend staying close to him. Your the only one who can calm him down and possibly get him to talk about what happened although it wouldn't be a good idea to ask immediately. If you have to leave then have Ming, Kit or Phana stay with him as he trusts them.
Forth: Ok Uncle I'll do that. (A/N not his blood uncle)
I put my phone away and immediately gathered Beam in my arms being extremely careful not to move his body much or aggravate his already severely injured body.
Just as I approach the door with Ming following close behind, it slams open and a very worried Kit and Pha coming running in quite out of breath most likely the ran all the way here from the car park.

Kit's POV
"What the hell happened to him!" I shout at Forth as soon as I see Beam in Forth's arms.
"I don't know but it really doesn't look good. I'm taking him to the hospital now. Let's talk on the way" Forth states before he begins walking speedily in the direction we just came from. I'm sure if he could run with Beam he would but I'm sure he's being careful with Beam's injuries since we don't know the extent of the damage caused.
We walked through the engineering hallways quickly as everyone moved out the way as soon as they saw Beam in Forth's arms. I could tell by their worried expressions that Beam is really cherished in the Faculty of Engineering. I followed Forth breaking slightly into a run when I couldn't keep up with his walking pace. My eyes never leaving my best friend who looked so weak and fragile in Forth's arms curled against his chest despite still being unconscious.
