Chapa's POV

Lola and I walked into the Mans Nest, forcing the door shut from the storm outside.

Mika: hey guys

Lola: hey

Chapa: did you guys see how powerful that storm is? How rare we even supposed to fight crime today?

Miles: oh we aren't...

Bose: yeah, check this out

He turned on the tv in the Mans Nest to a KLVY news report

News Report

Trent: hello and welcome to a very stormy day in Swellview

Mary: very stormy indeed, meaning that it is raining very heavily..

Trent: yes Mary, I'm sure everyone knew that..... anyways, the mayor of Swellview has said that all activities are canceled, including Crime and crime fighting.

Mary: authorities advise that no one should go outside today except if you have to do optional outdoor activities

Trent: no Mary, they say that no one should go outside unless absolutely necessary.

This has been KLVY news....

Lola: so there's no crime at all today

Cheyenne: yep, not until this storm is over

Chapa: so what do we do in the mean time?

Bose: we could watch a movie?

Miles: I could do that

Mika: yep

Cheyenne: I'll go make popcorn

Lola: no I'll go do it, because last time you burned it.

Cheyenne: right, right.....

A few minutes Pass, and we all sat on the floor on the mans nest with a bunch of pillows and blankets we got from the Mans Nest storage closet.

Mika: okay I'm playing it now

Mika presses play and the movie started, we got exited to watch, but then, the power went out

Cheyenne: oh come On

Miles: why now?

Chapa: guess we aren't watching a movie...

Mika: hey doesn't Schwoz have an emergency generator for things like this?

Lola: yeah, but it broke last time when there was a power outage, remember?

Bose: right!

Chapa: so we just have to sit here - i-in the dark?

Miles: is someone scared

Chapa: I am NOT scared!

A flash of lightning was followed by a clap of thunder, which caused me to shriek in fear, and latch onto Lola's arm

Mika: you were saying....

I opened my eyes to see that Lola was giggling which caused me to blush a little.

Chapa: that was just me being startled

Cheyenne: okay Chapa, we won't judge you. We'll laugh, but we won't judge.

I grumbled

Chapa: whatever, I'm gonna go look for some candles so I'll be able to see what's in front of me.
