Love flows

Taehyung met Namjoon when he was 17. He barely knew the meaning of crush and love when his high school friends poured those words out easily , dating one today and kissing another tomorrow.
In their last year of high school they were asked to make a 3D heart and Taehyung learnt that the heart beats and blood flows to organs through veins , it doesn't necessarily stop or start the flowing of blood , it just goes on . Taehyung likes to describe his love for Joon as that . He cannot fathom when he started to have a crush ( love him ) on him . Was it the day bonded over their hate of physics ? Or was it the day they had a marathon of FRIENDS on Friday night instead of going out ? Or was it the day he brought tickets for the museum on his birthday, only for Namjoon to kiss him on his check ? He doesn't remember and neither can he make it stop . The feelings just flow through his entire being just like blood flowing to his organs . Both needed for him to be alive .

Taehyung finally knew why crushes were well called 'crush' .
It was raining hard that day , he hadn't brought his umbrella that day . He had been waiting at the cafe for an hour now , the annoying barista offering him coffee and cakes which were on the house . He sighed and sketched again . His lips turn up slightly while drawing the curvy indents of Namjoon's face . The adorable craters always made his heart melt into a mush .
The bell jingled , he glanced up to see Namjoon entering the cafe with someone unknown to him . Namjoon's face was glowing , the dimples deepest he has ever seen , his eyes so much affection and happiness that it felt wrong to look at something that wasn't meant for him . He felt his heart breaking with every finger intertwined , the shy glances and the blush decorating his cheeks .

Taehyung had wanted to ask who he was but just let it slide as his hyung was just tutoring the person .

Later that week Jimin and Jungkook were bickering how long a crush turns into love . Jimin had bickered it was 2 years and for Jungkook it was 3 years . He snickered at them . It had been 4 years since he had a 'crush' on Namjoon . So was it love ? Taehyung didn't know .
He has never loved someone, middle school was him playing in the ponds catching frog , high school was biking trips and tutoring classes from Namjoon . He didn't know what love was . Was it the way his heart would feel like it will combust when Namjoon snuggled into his neck to hide his blush ? Was it the way he could hear their heart beats matching when they end up sleeping together after a Saturday movie night ? Was it the way his chest twisted in knots when Namjoon's surprisingly smaller fingers intertwined with his when they were cuddling ? Was it the way he found everything related to Namjoon intriguing ? Was it the cute little rants he use to have in between movies when the girl doesn't fall for the second lead ? Or was it the way his nose scrunch cutely when he ate min chocolate ice cream ? He doesn't know . All that he knows is Namjoon is what love is to him . A synonym , no it's not love to Taehyung , it's Namjoon to Taehyung . Namjoon is love itself for Taehyung .

After nudging and pressuring from his friends he made it a point to confess . As Jimin said " It will either make you or break you . But we'll be there to pick up pieces and glue it together . "
And so texted Namjoon that evening .

Hyung are you busy ?

No , I am not .

Can we go out for a drink ?

Sure. Did something happen ?

No . Just missed you hyung .

Okay . Magic shop at 11.

He dressed up in his best . The 90's French man aesthetic Joon loved to see him on . He was determined to confess that day . But he forgot that he had low alcohol tolerance. And two shots of soju was enough to make him pass out and babble like a baby . And that instead of being a man in front of his eyes , he was tucked into his bed like a child .

Namjoon introduced Seokjin to him few days later . He was the same man his hyung was tutoring .
" Taehyung-ah meet Seokjin hyung , my boyfriend. " Namjoon said his cheeks heated like quick silver under sun rays . Taehyung felt his breath stop , all the moments spent with Namjoon came crashing down to him . Namjoon wasn't his to love .
Jin introduced himself with a dad joke , the squeaky shoe polishing laughter making him somehow smile instead . He was a good guy . He tried to like him but he couldn't help it how his face reminded him of how Namjoon didn't love him , how Jin was the man Namjoon loved , how perfect they were for each other .

It was Namjoon's graduation party and the 7 friends were huddled in a Korean barbecue restaurant. He was surrounded by his friends yet he felt empty , alone . Yoongi and Jungkook were in their own world , whispering in the corner ; Jimin and Hoseok basically grinding themselves on each other ; while Jin was cracking dad jokes and Namjoon was laughing to him . He felt so out of place , like he wasn't needed here . He felt like those plastic wrapping on the bottled water , people could just throw them away and still use the bottle . Hoseok teased his Joon how he finally had a boyfriend to kiss on Valentine's Day and not go moping around with Taehyung .
The crowd cheered when Joon and Jin kissed , they seemed perfect for each other , the lock and the key . He silently went back not noticing two pairs of worried eyes staring at his retreating figure .

Taehyung tried to stay away , avoid them at his best . But Taehyung was a weak man for love , for Namjoon .

Taehyung-ah , let's get cupcakes . Hyung will treat you .

And so he set out , the chilly November air making his cheeks blow out in a shade of red . Taehyung sucked in his breath at the sight of Namjoon and Jin holding hands while waiting for him .
Namjoon seemed nervous for some reason .
He sighed and put out his blinding boxy smile while greeting both of them , but only this time his smile didn't crinkle his eyes .
He looked at their intertwined hands , Jin's thumb rubbing circles to soothe Namjoon .
" Taehyung-ah ! I like you ,I really do . "
Jin begins .
" And there is something we both would like to ask you " Namjoon seems to be worried , worry glinting in his eyes .
" Would you like to be in a relationship with us ? I mean I liked you all along and Jin hyung likes you too and I thought you liked me so I thought maybe we could make this work . I mean I know it's weird and scary . And I would be shocked too if someone said that out of now- "
The words didn't make sense to Taehyung for a second , his brain seemed to be in tangled mess until he realised what they were talking about. He knows it's gonna be scary and maybe weird , it might not end up well but Taehyung can have Namjoon in anyway he presents , even if it meant he needs to share .
" Hyung you are rambling " he begins and smiles .
" Ofcourse hyung ! " he says in a beat.
They intertwine their hands together and he feels home . This is where he belongs , in the arms of his loved ones .
He is unsure of his feelings for Jin but he can try . He'll do anything for Joon . Joon might be there glue to the perfect relationship.
