Ava's POV

*Alarm goes off*
Ugh.....noooooo I don't want to..........

Johnny try's to wake me up, but I just go back to sleep...........then I hear........RIP.....I shot up only to see Johnny ripping some furniture

"What the heck you jerk cat!" I stand on my bed, going over to Johnny only to fall off the bed.

"Oww........"I sigh and tell Johnny he's stupid but I love him

*phone rings*

"Huh? Oh it's you....Lorelei...." I continue to chat with Lorelei and she asked if I wanted to go to the convention with her....luckily I had a good excuse for not going.......

"Actually I have an interview today,so I can't go." I say to Lorelei. A few seconds later I hang up and Johnny brings his food bowl to me.

"Huh? Oh right! I have to buy more Yum Yums for you!" I go into the kitchen and grab a slice of pizza in the fridge. I heat it up and give it to him.

"Sorry Johnny you're going to have to eat this till I get some more food for you." Then I walk into my room and get changed.

Johnny looks at the bowl and just walks away.

I come out of my room, and heard someone knocking at my door.I answered it and it's my neighbor and landlord Jake.

"Oh h-hey A-Ava, I just came by to get rent." Jake says while slightly blushing.

I give him a really face. "I feel like I'm the only person you collect rent from.You know there's plenty of ways to make friends without being creepy about it." I walk pass Jake and go into the elevator...then I realized it's TRASH DAY!

I run back out the elevator and Jake is slowly walking away from my apartment. He says something but I say, "Sorry.Trash." Then I rush in my apartment,grab the trash and go into the elevator.

Jake's POV

...............Did she.........Did she just call me trash?......I think to myself and walk away, still wondering.........

Back to Ava's POV

As the elevator came to a stop, I rushed out and ran to the side of the building.As I'm putting the trash away I realized that I passed  5 guys struggling to......survive?...I couldn't really tell if they were really suffering, because they could just be practicing for the convention thing, but began to notice I was wrong....

"Omg are you guys ok?!" I answer and one of them screams, " AH! A human!" Then they all start to stay things like how they can't move, or breathe....I start to notice that they're wearing some costumes that belong to some fantasy role play.....I also notice that one of them is on the ground not moving at all!

I rush over to him, and trying to get a response out of him.The others were saying something about me approaching him and that they have to protect him.

"Um what do you guys mean? Do you not care that your friend is over here DYING! I say to them getting a few scary looks. I look at this guy on the ground next to me and think to myself.....Just do it Ava, Just do it....I finally got the courage to give him CPR. The guys behind me start to scream, and say that I'm sucking his face off! Ugh they are so annoying.....but I can't believe I'm actually technically kissing someone......NO....Not the time....

One of the guys comes over and lifts me off the ground.

"What the heck?!" I say earning a scary look, but the guy next to me started to cough and then wake up.

"Are you alright?" The one with the dark blue horns said.

The guy I saved stood up and said he's fine,then they all started to look at me.......

5 minutes later

Here I am.......stuck in a tree.....missing my job interview.......UGH how did I get here?........this day can not get any worse or weird......but I shouldn't have said anything because at that moment, I look to the right of me and on the building there is this purple and black substance creating a section on the wall and 4 girls pop out: One with raven hair, one with brownish hair, one with orange hair and one with pink hair.
As I stare at them wide eyed I notice that they have the same purple substance on parts of their face....then one of them starts to wake up..

And then the rest follow..."Ugh my head..." the one with orange hair said. As they all check on each other I use this chance to ask them for help, even if I shouldn't.

"H-hey um, you girls right there?" They look at me with shocked faces. "Could you, maybe help me down?" I say with a unsure voice because these people just popped into this world out of a weird substance....They all rush over to me and the one with hair like my but darker says, " OMG are you ok? How did you get up there?"

" Long-story short, a group of guy cosplayers came and put me in this tree and now I can't get down." As I say that my jacket starts to  rip.............before I could fall to the ground, the raven haired girl caught me mid air, and landed....SOFTLY?!? She put me down and I thanked her, then we walked over to the other girls.

"Hey, um do you guys need a place to stay?" I asked them, hopefully not going to regret this decision. They look at each other and nodded. The girl with the pink hair said,"Yes, please! If you have room...."

I nodded and we started to walk back to my apartment but before I could take 5 steps, the cosplay boys who put me in this tree came back and saw the girls.

"Did she call back up?" The one with the green horns said and pulled out some weapons
,Then the white horned one came up to us and said that we are now his Prisoners...Me and the girls laughed it off as a joke.

"They're mocking you?" The one with green horns said. The one with white horns got angry and came up to us with a fireball in his hand. I started to freak out, as the girls behind me had shocked faces. As he got closer to me, I had an idea..............A literal life threatening idea.......I decided to pull on his horns. He started to blush, while one of them said," in public?!" And the light blue horned one covered the innocent looking ones eyes."hey!" He said.

I stood back in shock." They're....REAL!" I screamed out and felt very light headed, then I blacked out................
