Cake and tea is all that is bothering Felicity Bell. Felicity is my friend, she is pregnant and all she wants is cake at the moment...Too much cake. Usually she is quite a shyer person but lord has this baby changed her. She is no longer quiet and reserved, but instead bubbly and seemingly she never stops complaining. The fact that men don't approach her is strange to me, she has never introduced me to anyone so I don't believe she would have slept with anyone. More likely just wanted a child because she is getting older now. Who would have thought, back in school she was very odd. Lots of people change through twenty years but not her, not at all. Now, she is just... inexplicably weird!

"His name is Thomas,". I look up from my phone and give her a confused look. "His name is Thomas Scottney. He's an architect." "Who, your boyfriend?" "No silly, I don't date," she paused "I went to a donor place and applied to get pregnant. He has dark brown hair and crazy black eyes, its looks cute on him.". I glance up as I put my teacup down "How old is he?", she seems to ignore my question by looking out of the window "Felicity...?" "Okay! He's twenty three.". Felicity looks unimpressed by my expression "Y...you went to a sperm bank and got it off someone in his twenties? You're forty seven, Fi...you're old enough to be his mother.". She nodded "I know.".

We both went back to staring out of the window. The rain came and passed whilst we were sitting in the Stillwater Cinnamon Café. Felicity glanced at me a few times and honestly I couldn't take my attention off of her because she wouldn't stop buying cake and just eating it right in front of me and not even offering any. Finally I snapped (who wouldn't) and stood up from my seat, I pushed the chair in and walked up to the counter. The lady who was to serve me had bright orange hair and a dazzling smile but I mentally kicked myself for even thinking that. After a few moments of her actually trying to flirt with me I finally managed to order a black coffee with one sugar.

I sat back at my seat and went back to looking at the clouds clearing away and leaving behind the sunlight. "You could have got me more tea whilst you were there," Felicity said. I glared at her, yeah right would I get her any tea. The bill arrived and of course I payed for it, all thirty dollars and twenty six cents of it, and you know why? Because I didn't want to be rude to a pregnant woman, and also because Fi ran out of the shop and said she would wait for me out there... At least I gave that redhead my phone number!
