LIVINIA ROWLE HAD ALWAYS BEEN CONSIDERED A LITTLE STRANGE — not strange in the realms of Luna Lovegood, but it was thought to be unusual for the child of a renowned Death Eater to be so quiet and reserved. Unbeknownst to everyone, the middle Rowle child was nothing short of miserable, and not unlike most teenagers, the girl had terrible coping mechanisms.
The Rowle's were Slytherins through and through, and therefore, so was Livinia; no one guessed that she should have been placed in Ravenclaw. As her years at Hogwarts passed, Livinia became indifferent and snide, only bothering to speak to those with the same messed up beliefs as her remaining family. The girl didn't dare to even look at anyone that thought otherwise, and it was safe to assume that it included pretty much everyone from any of the other three houses.
If anyone were to suggest that Livinia Rowle and Ronald Weasley would become friends during their fifth year, she'd simply laugh in their face and insist that they visited St Mungo's and had their sanity checked. There was no way that Livinia would allow herself to act in such a way that would not only ruin her reputation but also the last shred of her father's mental stability.
