My dad was still at the dojo and I heard someone knock and I opened the door and I saw Miguel and I smiled and he said "ready for our date?"
I smiled and said "yup."
We went to the diner and I said "so babe when do you think we should tell my dad?"
He said "soon."
I said "ok well I'll tell him."
He said "no no I'll do it he loves me."
I smiled and he grabbed my hand and I sat on his lap and kissed him and then I felt someone tap my shoulder and I looked and my dad said "violet?!"
I said "surprise..."
We sat down and I said "dad is sorry we were
Gonna tell you-"
He said "violet I'm not even mad I like Miguel so I'll accept him not him only!"
I smiled and said "thanks dad."
We all ate and then went home.
I was so happy and my dad said "haven't seen you this happy since you were like 5."
Next day after school
I said "hawk you got real cool."
He smiled and said "think im hot?
I said "uh hawk never said that no I don't think your hot?"
He said "kidding Miguel!"
I said "aww jealous?"
He scoffed and said "no"
I smiled and mumbled "you're so cute I swear."
He smiled and hawk said "I need a babe."
Miguel said "it should be easy for you because I was a new kid when I met vio."
