The City Palace in Jaipur is a kind of museum which displays the lives of the rulers of Jaipur. From their daily clothes to their sports jersies to the carpets and blankets woven and the way their court was held. We get to peek in their lives and get an idea how they functioned. Just beside the City palace is the palace where the royal family currently lives.
P.S - if you hire an rickshaw, it's basically like hiring a guide and getting a ride. 2 in 1 ;)2. Jantar Mantar
The biggest Jantar Mantar of India, Janar Mantar, Jaipur is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical monuments built by a Rajput king, *Jai Singh II* . It also features the largest sundial in the world. Also, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
P.S- Try not to go there in summers. It's SWELTERING.
3. Bapu Bazaar
Shopping freaks, a perfect place to shop if u wanna buy traditional Rajasthani clothes,jewellery and chappals. The market is one of the most lively markets in Jaipur. The other markets include Johri Bazaar and Tripolia Bazaar among others.
P.S- There are many restaurants with traditional Rajasthani food and more.4.Jal Mahal
"Water,Water everywhere, but there's also a palace!".
Water palace or jal Mahal is a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar lake. It was made by Jai Singh II and the architecture is by Pratap Singh of Jaipur.
It's mesmerizing!!!5. Amer Fort
This fort made of marble and sandstone was made by Man Singh I of Jaipur . The fort is located in Amer, a small town 11 km from Jaipur. The fort is pretty big and the view from the top is amazing.
P.S- It's pretty tiring to climb the fort till the top on foot.
