What is going on...

You went to the fanciest restaurant in town. 'Does he have enough money to pay all the expenses??'' You thought and shook off the thought in your head. Your dad asked for a table of three although there were only two among you. Who was the third person coming? You kept looking at the door to see if someone was coming in and sit with you. After 20 minutes of watching people go by your table, someone finally went to sit with you. "Hey babe. How are you this evening?" '...wha?' Was all you could process in your head. Why did he call your dad 'babe'? Are they dating or something? "Hello him. I want you to meet my daughter, Y/N. Y/N this is your step mother, Katie."

A/N: idk a name to give the stepmom. Comment a name you think is good for her. I'll use it next chapter. Oki, back to the story

The woman called your stepmom, waved at you and you wave slightly. She sat down beside you and your dad. The whole time, she kept talking about how work for her was to hard, although she was only a business partner for a very high quality company. You broke her conversation about jobs and stuff by asking her what she would do in her free time.
"Oh, nothing much really. I probably draw some stuff, try to have free time to hang out with your father and friends. Like I said, nothing much." She responded with a small laugh. "Yeah...cool. Anywho, I'm starving! What's for supper?" You looked at the menu to see what you wanted and saw so many things that looked so good. You finally took the spicy curry with rice. Your dad took the spaghetti to share with his girlfriend. You had a thought that they were gonna do the very cheesy thing when you have spaghetti. After you finished eating, your dad and you made your way to your dad' car and waved goodbye to Katie. Once in the drive home, you asked your dad how long you e been dating. He responded with a 'not to long ago' response. This was the second girl he's been through this month. How many weeks until he finds a new one you wonder.

Once you got home, you went to your room and kept cleaning. You heard your phone go off with a number you've never seen before. It was a text from
(XXX)-XXX-XXXX.
Hello! Just wanted to tell you that you looked beautiful today and i loved the way your hair fell down your back. Hope we can hang out sometime!

"W-what...?" Was all you could think of saying. What was up with this person!? First he writes you a letter, then he texts you?? How did he get your number!! You panicked for about 10 minutes then ran downstairs crying out of fear. You ran to your father in the sofa and gave him a hug.
"I love you too hun. Whoa! What's going on? Are you okay?" He kept asking you if you were alright. You showed him the text and his face grew red. You felt the arms around you let you go. Your dad walked to the car and got something out of the trunk. It looked like... A gun?!?! Why in the world does he have a gun! Your dad came back and told you if anything were to happen, use the weapon in his hands to immobilize the intruder and call him and the police once you do. You nodded and took the gun to your closet in your room. 'What in the world is going on... Why me out of all people!! I just want to live a normal life. Where no one would stalk me...' you silently sobbed in your pillow until you dozed off to sleep.

Hey!! Sorry for the (kinda) late post. I sorta forget about the story then when I get back to it, my ideas never come to mind and I just end up with something kinda different. Anyway, I'll try and do more chapters often. For now, enjoy this chapter while it lasts
