Ice Cube's POV

I watch as the two girls fight, watching them frightendly.

"YOU COULDN'T EVEN FUCKING BE THERE FOR US WHEN NEEDED YOU FOR THAT CHALLENGE!" Book shouted at the shorter one

"I WAS STUCK IN THAT FUCKING JAWBREAKER FOR FUCK'S SAKE! WHY CAN'T YOU BE REASONABLE FOR ONE FUCKING SECOND?!" Taco screams

I cover my ears at the shouting. Taco and Book have had quite the fights before, but this one seems more intense than the rest.

Most of them end with both of them splitting up, as Book rants to me about how irresponsible and selfish Taco is.

I used to be with Book on all of this...

But now... I'm not sure who to believe...

Honestly, I'm sick of it, sick of all this stupid fucking drama. I just hope it ends sometime soon.

My thoughts are suddenly interupted by a loud shriek, cleary coming from Taco.

I look in horror to see Taco ond the ground, holding her head, tears pouring out of here eyes with Book standing above her.

It takes me a moment to realise what the everloving-fuck just happend.

And then it clicks.

Book literally just hit Taco, it didn't look like a soft hit either.

Book then turns around and faces me, and then her face slightly drops, seeing me so scared.

Why did Book just do that?! Taco had never done anything to her and she just... hit her!

Book's face then becomes more serious as she approches me.

"C'mon Icy, let's go." She says in a serious and slightly upset tone.

I nod a little and follow her, still shocked that Book hit Taco.

I can't just stand by and watch anymore. It have to do something about this stupid fucking drama.

I suddenly stop dead in my tracks, face, tensing up as Book takes a few paces infront of me, and then stops when she realises I'm not following her anymore.

"Hey Icy, what's wrong? Why'd you stop?"

I stand there silently as I feel my fists ball up.

I feel a fimiliar emotion I've felt once before.

Anger.

I feel the anger wash over me as Book asks me again, in a more concerned manner this time.

"Icy, i-is everything okay?" She squats down to my level as she says this.

You know what?

I've had it.

I've fucking had it.

"Icy a-are you seriously oka-"

"WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE THIS?!" I scream as loud as I can

Book stumbles back, clearly surprised at the gesture

"What do you mea-"

I cut her off again
"YOU KNOW WHAT I FUCKING MEAN BOOK! YOU USED TO BE SO NICE! YOU WHERE THE ONLY ONE IN FREESMART WHO EVEN CARED FOR ME AND NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN TACO LEFT US FOR ONE SINGLE CHALLENGE AND NOW YOU'VE TURNED INTO THIS- THIS- MONTSER! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BOOK I KNEW?! THE BOOK THAT CARED FOR ME?! THE BOOK I LOVED?! I JUST FIND THIS SO STUPID AND IRRATIONAL. WHY BOOK?! JUST WHY?!"

...

Silence.

At this very moment I can hear nothing but my breath, warm against my face.

I then look to the ground, breaking eye contact as I feel hot tears stream down my cheeks.

Suddenly, I feel a warmth against my chest. I look up to see book, her arms around me, looking to be on the brink of crying.

I feel shocked, stumbling back a bit, then hug back, embracing her as I cry into her shoulder.

I then look up at her, and she looks down at me, she blushes as she stumbles back a bit.

"O-Oh I um...I- uh-"

She mutters out random noises, as if trying to say something, but to no avail, completely fucking up on the entire "sentence".

She then sighs and looks down at the floor, takimg a firm grasp on her arms.

"Icy... I'm so sorry... I should've let you have a say... an opinion on this whole thing..."

...

...I should've let you have some freedom..."

I look at her, shocked. This really isn't something I should be shocked about seeing that it's Book... but with all of this drama going on right now... It is really quite shocking.

"Book... I..."

I can't find anymore words to be honest...

I look her, she looks at me.

I wanna do something stupid...

I take her hands without uttering a single word.

Yeah, I'm gonna do something stupid.

I inch my face closer to hers.

No turning back now.

"Icy what are you doi-"

I force my lips onto hers as we turn into a heated kiss.

She then kisses me back, our lips moving in sync

I pull away from the kiss and look up at Book.

Fuck that was stupid.

I stumble back, blushing like mad.

"O-Oh god fuck... I-I didn't... I- Uh...Uhm...Fuck..."

I mutter clenching my eyes shut.

"N-No need to apologise Icy! I-It's fine really..."

I open my eyes and look at her, we exchange glances.

"So... I'm guessing that kiss was an 'I forgive you'?" She chuckles

"Shut it."

"Heh... so anyways, wanna get something to eat? I've heard there's a new café not too far from here!"

"Uhm... sure."

"Great!, c'mon Icy! Let's go!"
