Deku needed to sleep after all that happened. When he was getting ready for bed, he couldn't get Nomu out of his head. Everything reminded him of Nomu, he kept on denying that he fell in love. Not like he has experienced love ever before. He laid in bed trying to sleep, but he just couldn't. Was he excited, was he scared? He didn't know so he decided to take a run. He stepped out of his dorm, hoping that he wouldn't get caught by one of the reporters. It was late at night so he was a bit carefree. He started to run on the sidewalk, the cold air made him shiver. He wasn't paying attention and stopped at the nearest convenience store (btw there are soooo many convenience stores and vending machines in Japan).  He went for the Suntory BOSS Black coffee, he didn't even like coffee. As he was buying the coffee he had to wear his hood so he wouldn't get recognized.
He sat on a nearby bench drinking his coffee. It reminded him of nomu so he didn't mind the bitter taste. Suddenly he saw 2 shadowy figures walking towards him. He stood up and walked away from them. He has dealt with crazy fans, he was one himself, and he naturally assumed that they found him out. The shadowy figures started to pick up their pace and Deku slipped in an alleyway in order to escape them. The shadowy figures were a bit confused and it bought deku some time. Deku turned around and smelt something familiar. He couldn't place his finger where he has smelled such a stench. He decided to drink the rest of the coffee and then realized that it smelled like nomu. "Does Nomu live here?" Deku questioned himself. He started fantasizing about his new found love until it was cut short. The two shadowy figures found him, their figure's becoming more clear to Deku. One was tall and lanky while the other was small and had a feminine figure with large hair. Both revealed their identities, it was Dabi and Toga. Deku told them to leave and that it wasn't a time for them to fight. However the others insisted and before Deku knew it, he felt something scratch his arm. "Fuck" deku yelled, he knew it was Toga. Blood was dripping from his side and Toga was licking the bloody knife she just stabbed Deku with. The air was getting warmer around Deku realized that Dabi was setting flames. Deku was getting ready and turned on the quirk. Suddenly the smell was getting stronger, the smell he almost forgot about. Toga tried to stab him and Deku stepped back. He was falling but then he felt something large and warm catch him. Deku turned around, "Nomu?", he said. Nomu looked at him with his bulging eyes and said "yes".
